Looking towards the end of Lockdown Tag

Lockdown rules and restrictions have been lifting steadily in the UK. My COVID vacine is booked for tomorrow and it is feeling like after nearly two years of lockdown we are going to actually see the end of it. Everyone has had different reactions to the end of lockdown – there have been so many changes to the way various places run and even to the way people think and interact with each other. I hadn’t hugged anyone outside of the people living with me in a year. It’s been a while ride, but as we are looking forward to the end, I wanted to see how other people were feeling at the end of lockdown. I have created a little tag to reflect and share my thoughts, especially as I didn’t participate in the weekly feelings and thoughts about COVID.

Our thoughts on HelloFresh after a week of meals | Review

I don’t know about you, but HelloFresh is always advertising itself to me. It’s on my Youtube and Facebook ads, telling me how much easier my life would be if I just purchase the meals. KiwiCo Tinker Crate – Spin Art Machine | Review

[Ad- gifted product] In our continued mission to find the best subscription boxes for kids, we’ve given KiwiCo’s Tinker Crate a go, and the first box was fantastic. Subscription boxes have developed a lot over the years, I’m not sure exactly when they first became a thing – but I think most of us remember the magazine subscriptions that offered one book of a set of twenty, or a single dinosaur bone per issue. Somewhere along the line, somebody started a cool, activity subscription box, and the whole thing has blown up since.

We’ve dabbled with a lot of these subscription boxes over the last year, giving the kids some fun new ways to learn while homeschooling or in lockdown. We’ve shifted them too, trying to make sure that we don’t get too comfortable with any one in particular. KiwiCo’s Tinker Crate was the next one up for us, and – as it turns out – they’re really onto something.
