[Ad- gifted product] I was invited along to the Miniso Ealing launch – a new store launch happening in London, the first Miniso in England. This Japanese shop has a bunch of different ‘basics’, almost being a shop of curated, cute items that fall under a bunch of everyday categories; mugs, stationary, pens, plushies, chargers, headphones, beauty items, hair ties, makeup sponges, wooden toys, back packs – everything with a cute twist. They even had Marvel baby toys that were simply adorable.
[Ad- gifted products] When it comes to decorating the inside of our home with art, we have been trying to get more personalised and meaningful pieces up. Photograph collages have been a big one for us, but when we saw the personalised prints by Created by Magic, they were so stunning and sophisticated, there was no way we couldn’t partner up with them! They basically take an image that you have taken and can make it into a beautiful sketch or add names to some already beautiful works of art, to make them personal to you.
[Ad- gifted experience] As the Holiday season is upon us, Viking, an office supplier in the United Kingdom, invited a bunch of us bloggers to a Christmas Crafts event. I went along with Claire (who wrote up a lovely post herself) and Dann.
When it comes to Christmas Crafts, I know of quite a few. I expected some sort of Christmas Card to be made, maybe an ornament of some kind – but Viking really blew me away with the event and the crafts featured. Once we got to the Shoreditch Tree House, a fantastic venue that looked much like an open garden, with a large table in the middle, we were met with loads to eat and drink. With a Christmas themed buffet eaten, we moved onto our crafts. Viking had set up two crafts for us all to do, both with the general theme of shredded paper. They had some brand new shredders present, which they used to shred colored paper that can them be used for the crafts! This was a very clever idea and one we had not actually though of before.
We’ve always make an effort to make our way to a forest at the start of each November, especially as this year we have Halloween pumpkins to drop off into the forest so that animals can munch on them as a tasty treat. Getting your used pumpkins out into a forest is a great way to feed some wildlife that’s probably out searching for food at this time of year, especially as there isn’t much left on the forest ground.
[Ad- gifted experience] Earlier in the year, we got invited along to mezcal event as apart of London Cocktail Week. Mezcal have very different processes when they are made, meaning that unlike tequila, they have a wider variety of aspects that comes when making them. They are made with many different agave, meaning there is more age, soil density, growing conditions, etc that are all taken into account to make different mezcals.
