Falling Back in love with Photography, thanks to MPB

When it comes to photography, years ago I got a Cannon EOS 800D, the same camera I used in high school. I had, during my time in high school, became a published artist for my photography. I was featured in galleries and my art was sold at charity auctions. I really enjoyed the heavy feeling of a camera, and as I had not had a mobile phone, it was just fun to be able to take a bunch of pictures.

Power Hungry Pets – Simply based on luck!

[Ad- gifted product] From the creators of Exploding Kittens, Power Hungry Pets is a new, easy to play card game with not a lot to actually remember. In this game, you’ll need to bluff and luck your way to victory. Often we find with Robin’s age (she’s 8 years old) that she gets overwhelmed with card games. There generally is just too much going on and she needs to be in a team, but Power Hungry Pets doesn’t have that issue at all.

Baking with Wright’s Baking Garlic & Rosemary Focaccia Bread Mix

[Ad- gifted product] I do not consider myself a baker, but I am a good cook! We often do a lot of cooking as a family, especially as all three of our children love helping out in the kitchen. When it comes to baking, however, I tend to my two homemade muffin recipes, my one cake recipe, and then trying out box mixes. I came across Wright’s Baking Orange Cake Mix, which came out far better than expected, so I was excited to try the Wright’s Baking Garlic & Rosemary Focaccia Bread Mix. If you don’t know, Focaccia is often quite challenging to make, especially as the dough often needs to rest over night, but this pre-made mix actually said it only needed to rest three times, at 15 minutes each.

My Must Buys at Costco

Costco is so well known in America, and seems to have just grown in popularity with haul culture and Tiktoks! As an American who has never been to the American Costco, I have always been curious if it would really live up to the hype in the United Kingdom. We’ve got a few friends that go to Costco regularly, but haven’t had the chance to go ourselves, until one evening Dann decided to look it up (possibly due to them selling my absolute favorite American fruit snacks), and realize he qualified for Trade Member due to his job. We then got Trade cards and decided to check out this massive shop. We’ve been going for a few months now, and often only pick up one or two things (along with those legendary free samples, which you can see me enjoying on Reels – yes we have samples in the United Kingdom), and have quickly picked up a bunch of favorites.

Tinkerer Odyssey Box – STEM Subscription!

[Ad- gifted product] Subscription boxes are a great way to have a regular routine or activity that feels new and refreshing each month. There are a bunch of different types of children’s subscription boxes, but having a STEM related box, with the aim of getting children interested in science, is always a good option! Robin was very excited to play with her Tinkerer Odyssey Box, Loopy Racers. This box had a launcher, a bunch of cars, and a ring of fire! Along with a booklet that had a comic about the project and a bunch of other suggestions for other activities that we could do.
