Dinner at The Woodland Kitchen and Bar

I went to King’s Lynn for a work event, and as we were there for an entire day, we decided to go to The Woodland Kitchen and Bar for a large, early dinner before my talk. This is actually a restaurant that’s on-site for a holiday location, but we didn’t know that when we checked Google Maps to see nearby places that Google thought I would like. Dann and I always order too much, but we especially do when everything starts coming out looking and feeling so delicious. Our experience at The Woodland Kitchen and Bar was fantastic and we did, in fact, order too much!

Brick Like This! – Fast building card game

[Ad- gifted product] We play a board game every other week at our local Geek Retreat, as a way to unwind after a busy Monday back to school. This time, we tried out Brick Like This! which is all about quickly talking and building with LEGO. It’s a quick action party game that does feel like a lot of fun, though it can be tricky for younger ones, so you might want to consider playing with your teens and tweens!

My Little Miracle Bedtime Range – Gentle and Calming

[Ad- gifted product] My Little Miracle has a fantastic range in bath and body products for little ones, and they’ve recently released a Bedtime range, that includes a body lotion, body oil and bubble bath. Though we do not have a toddler in our house anymore, we figured it would be fine to have a look at some of the products with Robin, who still very much enjoys bath time and could always use a new tool to help her wind down on a weekend.

All of this range has lavender and chamomile scents, though they are very light and clean smelling. It’s aim is to sooth and make bedtime easier, through calming scents and feelings. I found all of these new products to have gentle scents and be fantastic on the skin, which is exactly what you want in these types of products. They are also all dermatologically tested and My Little Miracle is an award-winning brand.

All You Can Eat at GAJA Korean BBQ

When looking for fun places to eat in Amsterdam, our tour guide on a canal tour recommended two places, one of which being GAJA Korean BBQ. At the time, we did not know it was an all you can eat BBQ joint, but were very excited to discover this! You can either order off the standard menu or you can choose the all you can eat option, which does only allow one dessert per person and doesn’t include drinks. That’s what we ended up going with. There is a two hour eating limit and everything is ordered through scanning a QR code, where you can also allow others from your table to join the order, and you can see who orders what. If you aren’t familiar with Korean BBQ, you are able to cook everything in front of yourselves.

Triyit Box – Cat Food and Drinks

[Ad- gifted product] We’ve done a few Triyit Boxes in the past, as they are such a fun way to try out some samples (in exchange for filling out a survey)! When we qualified for this box, we were pretty excited, as we weren’t sure at all what was coming. It turns out, there should have been one other item, but it was missing! This was something we only discovered when filling in the survey, as it asked for information about an item we didn’t have, so that was a bit of a surprise.
