Bring the movie to life with PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls

[Ad- gifted product] Our household is full of gamers. With both Dann and I working full time in the video game industry, we tend to play a lot of games together. Though Kai is into games that the youngest can’t really play, we spend a lot of time compromising and playing games together. With such a big age gap, often we need to find games that Robin would enjoy playing – as she can’t get into strategy games. One of her favorites are PAW Patrol – probably due to loving the Pups and their TV show. Previously, we took a look at PAW Patrol: Might Pups, which Robin enjoyed, but with the new movie out, there of course, is a new game called PAW Patrol The Movie: Adventure City Calls.

Mini HORNIT – Bike and Scooter light with sound effects

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to riding bikes, Amelia, Kai and Robin have all been enjoying biking around for the last two years! The girls have gone from being quite wobbly – Amelia with training wheels – to confident and flying along. Amelia’s training wheels have even come off. They love taking their bikes out and riding around parking lots or along sidewalks. We also have started going on night time walks around, bringing flash lights with us, and decked their bikes out with wheel lights, in case they want to ride in the late evenings. The Mini HORNIT seemed like a perfect addition and fit with our biking set up!

A New Style of Ball Juggling with the Pindaloo toy

[Ad- gifted product] Some toys I understand more than others, from the start. It’s easy to tell how to play with a doll or how to put together a puzzle, but when we saw the Pindaloo, we were curious, wondering exactly how this toy was played with. The Pindaloo is actually a really simple ball game, where you are looking to sort of throw and catch a ball in a curved pipe, building up momentum to juggle the ball in and out of this tube. It’s a simple idea, but it does take quite a bit of practice to master. Thankfully, there are tons of YouTube videos to help you get to grips with the toy.

Kid’s Against Maturity – a funny card game | Review

[Ad- gifted product] It’s no secret that we play a lot of board games at our home. Dann and I have a regular board game night, with all of our friends, every other week. The children, seeing and being surrounded by our board game collection, have taken an interest in board games, finding family favorites like the Minecraft Board Game and Flip Out, a game about flipping pancakes. So, when we went to Smyth’s to find Kid’s Against Maturity, they were delighted, and eager to point out all of the board games from Smyth’s that we have already played.

Getting outdoors with the Bug Safari Kit

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to bugs, Nick Baker is the main guy making all of these amazing bug kits. We’ve previously had a look at the Ant World kit, which found a lot of love in our home, so we were pretty interesting in playing around with the Bug Safari kit, especially as Amelia and Robin had a big interest in bugs – and not just ants. The Bug Safari kit is perfect for those looking to explore a local forest or backyard, finding insects and trying to notice details about them that they may not see in general play. It often take quite a bit of effort to stop and quietly look around, so this kit provided a nice amount of change from the normal way the girls play!
