[Ad- gifted product] Quick to carry around tabletop games are always ones that I find are perfect for the afterschool time between school ending and Kai’s DnD starting. We all bundle into our local Geek Retreat, grab a few milkshakes or sodas, and sit down to play games. Polar Panic was the latest on our list; the entire card game fits in a little tin, with the instructions in the lid, making it ideal for carry around with us!

Smash Down – Quick Trivia Fun
[Ad- gifted product] If you’re a fan of trivia, but want to even out the playing field, Smash Down is a fantastic, fast paced, trivia game where you need to physically find the answers on a large board. The board itself is made of four panels, which can be rotated around or even all flipped, to use the other side of the question cards, so just knowing the answer will not be enough.
Junior Colourbrain – Questions about Colors
[Ad- gifted product] We are always looking for more family games to play together, especially when on holiday. This year, during our weekend away at Waxham Sands, we took along Junior Colourbrain. Pencil Nose – Drawing with your Nose!
[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to games, we often play a lot of board games as a family and have moved towards toys that can be played together instead of individually. Whether it’s a board game or a collective toy, we did have a ton of fun playing it together!
History Heroes: A Little Slice of History – Learning Card Game
[Ad- gifted product] If you are a frequent reader on our blog, you know we try out a new board game or card game every single Monday that Kai has DnD. Kai goes to our local Geek Retreat, and we all grab milkshakes and play a few rounds of something before his DnD starts. Robin, Amelia, Dann and I all took along the tiny box that contains History Heroes: A Little Slice of History. This box is small enough to fit in any bag or purse and simple enough to bring around with you when going out and about.
