[Ad- gifted product] If you are a frequent reader on our blog, you know we try out a new board game or card game every single Monday that Kai has DnD. Kai goes to our local Geek Retreat, and we all grab milkshakes and play a few rounds of something before his DnD starts. Robin, Amelia, Dann and I all took along the tiny box that contains History Heroes: A Little Slice of History. This box is small enough to fit in any bag or purse and simple enough to bring around with you when going out and about.

[Ad- gifted product] Happy Salmon isn’t the normal type of card game we play at our local Geek Retreat. It’s one that might benefit from more space and not having a table in the middle of you. That said, as someone who has played it both ways, I do prefer having a table as a sort of middle ground, as otherwise people can get all in each other’s spaces and hard to move around! But, let’s get into the game.

[Ad- gifted product] Pear Shaped is the newest addition to our wall of table top games, this time featuring a very unique case for all of your cards! All of the cards are actually shaped like pears and fit inside a giant, bottom heavy pear. This pear actually acts as a timer and a key part of the game, so both the case for this game and the cards themselves are used in playing!
