Winter’s Tail at Chessington World of Adventure

Chessington World of Adventure is an amusement park that we do not often go to, despite it being quite nearby! It’s quite a fun and large amusement park, though we didn’t get a chance to go this year, so I was pretty excited to hear about their Winter’s Tail advent for the holiday season. The park itself is limited during this event, but what is there has been transformed into a winter wonderland, with seasonal shows and special events going on that are themed with this time of year. There is also a lot included in your ticket price, as long as you go to each one.

Lightopia London – a beautiful, illumination event

[Ad- gifted experience] Each and every year, Dann, Claire and I are all go to Lightopia. We’ve been going for years; before it was at the Crystal Palace! It is worth noting that there is parking at Lightopia, but you do need to purchase a seperate ticket and they do run out fast!

A Day Out at Legoland Windsor Firework Spectacular

Unlike the Halloween Event, the Firework Spectacular actually didn’t effect any of the rides or the park as a whole. Instead, it had the park open a few hours later, so that everyone could watch some lovely fireworks.

Seeing Owls at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation

[Ad- gifted experience] We all really love owls! Our children’s school does photos with owls, Dann has done an owl walk, and all three of our children have spent a lot of time asking about owls and if we can have owls. We were overjoyed to hear that we could get close to and learn about a few different types of owls at Eagle Heights Wildlife Foundation!

A Day out at Land of the Dead

In our hopes to make the most of the spooky, Halloween vibe that’s in the air, we have been looking for new local festivals to attend, and came across Land of the Dead! Land of the Dead is a festival that has a few different aspects to it; a pumpkin patch, a circus, few rides, food stands and some decorated houses that feel like a little village to explore. We had never been before and didn’t really know what to expect, so were happy to explore!
