[Ad- gifted product] After decorating our front door, we were well ready to start prep for our Halloween Party! We wanted to have a small Halloween Party this year so that the Halloween Spirit was still alive in our area. There are a lot of steps to preparing the perfect Halloween Party. We wanted to get ahead and start decorating the inside, as well as crafting and sending out a few invitations.
I am not a spooky movie fan, to be completely honest. I don’t like watching things that will give me chills or freak me out. With that in mind, I do love fall and enjoy a good Halloween or Autumn series or movie to watch, especially if it’s not on the scary side! I decided to put together a little list of my favorite things to watch in the Autumn to get me into the Halloween Spirit.
[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to getting a new phone, it’s always a big decision. I try very hard to keep my phone in good condition, so that it can last quite some time, as I feel phones are a large purchase that we make, that does need to last as everything is on our phones. I spend a lot of time on social media, taking pictures of days out, and generally using my phone for basically everything. It’s my calendar, it’s my connection to the greater world, it’s how I work.
I have previously only purchased new phones, waiting and using my cracked phone until I have saved up enough for a new one, before trading it off and ditching my old, on it’s last limb phone to a shoe box of deads in case I might ever need the images or texts off of them. Recently, however, I got the chance to check out a refurbished phone from giffgaff, which was far nicer than I would have ever expected.

2020 has been one heck of a year, so I wanted to talk about how exactly I have been relaxing in my free time. When it comes to self-care, you really do need to take the time to do things you enjoy and that relax you, so that you can recuperate! Being able to relax and having go-tos have been a really good way to calm down.
I always love cooking, but particularly recently I have enjoyed cooking more and more. Creating small desserts and putting together menus of delicious foods have been a highlight. I have even attended a few digital cooking classes that I will be posting about soon! Creating delightful menus or just trying out something new is always fun and really helps keep your mind busy.
I’ve seen Pawn Stars, where someone brings in a family heirloom – a bit of beautiful jewellery that their mother had passed down from generations to generators, clearly worth tons of money. But wait, it’s turned out this was just costume jewellery worth very little. When it comes to looking for antiques, you do not have a bunch of information on what the item is and where it is from, etc. If you are looking to start a collection of antique jewellery, there is a lot you need to know first.
