Catit PIXI Treat Dispenser is perfect for active cats!

Catit PIXI Treat Dispenser

When Popcorn entered our home, we knew that as he is a kitten, we needed to make sure that he had plenty to play with. We got him a few Catit toys that would keep him playing and entertained, even when we didn’t have the energy ourselves. One of his favorites, probably due to the amount of treats he can get out of it, is the Catit PIXI Treat Dispenser. We got the mouse shaped version of this toy.

The Catit PIXI Treat Dispenser actually is quite advanced in terms of a cat toy. You can screw off the top of the cat toy and fill it full of treats. Small treat bites work best and fit well within this toy, but you don’t want to put very many in to start with. The mouse has a little nose at the front of it, which can cause a treat to fall out, if your cat hits it around enough!

Along with this single small hole, there is also a hole on the bottom that can actually be adjusted. On the side of the toy, there is a little dial that only humans could adjust, as they have thumbs. This dial is easy to move, which then makes a lower hole within the mouse open. The more open it is, the easier treats can fall out.

This is also very useful if you have treats that are a bit bigger than the nose hole, so that you can ensure they can get out of the Catit PIXI Treat Dispenser. You can make it really challenging by making the hole quite small or make it easier by making it bigger – it’s really up to you. We have found that all three of our cats really love this dispenser and will spend a while knocking it about. They didn’t take too much time to get the hang of it either, especially when they found a treat! It feels good to have them sort of earning their little treats.

I may have to get something like this for our cats as they tend to gobble their treats up so quickly. And I like the idea that they have to work a bit for it x

Such a cute little dispenser and love seeing your cat playing with it! Great way to make sure they do not just devour the treats…. they play and get a little here and there! Love it!
