Cattitude Ohh Sweet Purrs Box | Review

Cattitude

In our quest to find the best subscription box for cat owners, this month I tired out the Cattitude box, which had the theme Ohh Sweet Purrs – something food related, perfect for our household. Cattitude is a subscription box that doesn’t just focus on your furry friend but also has lots of lifestyle items that are all cat themed. I was really happy with this box all together – it’s a cute design, I love the monthly themes and I do feel the amount of items and quality of those items were well worth it! Let’s get into what was in the box.

Cat Biscuit Toy

This little cat toy is super cute, we got a creamy cream biscuit, but others could have gotten a chocolate bonbon biscuit, which adds a bit of variety into what you get! It’s shaped like a little cookie and is filled with Canadian Catnip – Pancake loves catnip and has been chasing around this toy for a while. The only major issue – and it’s not even that major – that Pancake had with the Biscuit Toy was that his tongue is so rough that it’s moved a bit of the fibers on the fabric, but not enough that he’s coughed it up or had any issues.

Blueberry Pancake Catnip Toy

Cattitude

I swear, the Cattitude box was reading my mind with this toy. As our cat is named Pancake and he does smell of blueberries, we all thought this toy was super funny. Pancake also loves it, as it is full of catnip. He spends a lot of time chasing it around – the pancake glides well across the floor and the little blueberries are just adorable. It’s a very cute idea and I love having little foods for him to play with.

Hiro + Wolf Cat Accessory

This item actually is the only item that I didn’t quite love from the box, as Pancake doesn’t wear a collar (he is an indoor only cat) and so there is no way for him to wear it, but the item itself is so lovely and cute. It’s a handmade (locally, in East London) cat bandanna that’s very light weight and can be slipped onto your cat’s collar. It’s a good item, but just not perfect for us specifically.

Purr and Miaow Wet Food

In the food for cats category, we got two sachets of Purr and Miaow Wet Food in our Cattitude Box, these were chicken and beef flavor, and in line with the theme of the box, actually did mention sugar. These foods contain no sugar and is the only item in the box that is not sweet – instead it’s more healthy for your cat as it is sugar free. Pancake always loves trying new wet food and devoured this up – it doesn’t have many big chunks and contains a fair bit of gravy, which he enjoyed licking.

Onto the human items!

Cat Wax Melt Burner & Cat Paw Wax Melts

Cattitude

These two items seemed to really match each other! An adorable cat melter – we got the white one but there was a chance to get a black one – goes so well with the wax melts that were also in the box. I feel this is a very thoughtful combination, as just sending wax melts might result in people without any way to melt them. The wax melter is a very nice size as well. The Cat Paw Wax Melts are made in Suffolk, shaped like little cat paws of course, and smell sweet yet slightly like perfume. We will be using this wax melt in the future too, which is good.

Snooze Tea & Lucky Cat Fudge

Along with the cat food, there was some human food in the Cattitude box – specifically two cute Snooze Teas and a vegan, nut free fudge. The tea was nice enough – I am not a big tea drinker, but I found the apple and lavender to be an interesting take on chamomile. The tea was sweet and yummy – it didn’t need anything added to it. Neither me or Dann were too hot on the fudge, if we are honest. It tasted almost smokey in flavor, which was slightly weird for a fudge. I do feel it’s very considerate to have included a vegan and nut free fudge, as more people can eat it, and I am glad we got to try it!

Kitty Tweezers

Cattitude

As a little bonus item, there were a pair of cute kitty tweezers in the box, which now has a place in our bathroom with the rest of our bath products. I don’t have much to say about the tweezers – they work well and are indeed cute. I feel like everyone in the world is always looking for tweezers, so a spare pair is always welcome!

Overall, I felt really happy with the Cattitude box – both from the amount of toys and items for Pancake and for myself. I think everything fit the theme perfectly and the little card with more information on each item, stating where they were made and what was handmade, was a nice touch! It’s a great box. I also think it’s great that you can ‘gift’ yourself a single box, instead of paying for a rolling subscription, so you don’t have to faff about trying to cancel a subscription if you just want to try it out.

This is super cute. I love that there are so many different products all in one box – for the cat and for the owner. I’m sure that Pancake was SUPER excited about the treats and toys!
