[Ad- gifted product] Robin, like most children her age, is a fan of two things; plush toys and blind bags! The idea of possibly getting a rare and the hype of getting a mystery is something she very much enjoys. So, when we got these Deddy Bears – a new spooky toy range of soft, cuddly toys that are themed around spooky characters, she was super excited for them!
Deddy Bears have three different ways to collect; larger, 12 in plush toys that you can select, with their own cause of death card and body bag, a smaller plush in a coffin with it’s own card about them, and blind bag key chains which are the smallest, also with their own information card. The blind bags only come in the smallest size, so if you want to pick which character you get, the coffin and body bag are better options! The blind bag itself can have any of the characters in it, and comes as a clip.
All of these different Deddy Bears come with a little card that says their name and information about them. The Deddy Bear in a dead bag actually has more details like cause of death and blood type, where as the key chain and coffin versions have fun stories about the character, along with their likes, dislike, and scent. Our ghost key chain smells of farts and dislikes light, where as Squash, the Deddy Bear in a coffin smells like cinnamon and has a weakness to soups.
These characters are quite playful and fun, not super spooky like some Halloween items. Robin really loved the details too – with our vampire having a full on cape and the squash having a little scarf detail printed around his neck which looked like leaves. They are clearly well designed and inspired by classic spooky season items! We clipped the spooky key chain onto her backpack, to bring some of the autumn feel to her school, which she was very excited to show off with friends. If you are looking for a fun, affordable Halloween-themed gift for all ages, these are a great option.
