Dream Seekers – Rag doll styled fairy toy | Review

*AD – the item in this review was gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

When it comes to dolls, both Robin and Amelia enjoy playing pretend. Combine a doll with a cuddly toy that they can take to bed, and you’ve got a home run. Dream Seekers are rag doll styled dolls with realistic faces and really lovely styles. There are three dolls in the Dream Seerkers set at the moment, and we got the chance to take a look at Hope, the beautiful, rainbow fairy doll.

Dream Seekers are pose-able, with soft bodies, allowing them to sit up and cross their legs, sitting on a shelf or move their arms. The bodies come with some outfits that you can actually remove, if you have other doll clothing you’d like to have on them, as well as giant wings that can’t be removed. Our Dream Seeker has rainbow, blue, see-through wings which were Robin’s favorite of the set – as the doll is so very colorful. Their hair was the most impressive bit of the doll, to me, as they have beautiful colors, curls, and hair accessories that make them really stand out. These curls are held in place with some soft glue, but I am sure if you gave these kids a little hair brush they could brush it right out. The faces on these dolls are almost printed on, in a really realistic looking way, showcasing their makeup and facial expressions. Each Dream Seeker also comes with a pair of hard plastic shoes, which makes their feet sit more solidly on whatever surface you place them on.

Hope has a tattoo of a dream catcher on her arm, which represents her dreams and hopes – Hope wants everyone to be happy and to express their dreams. Bella, a pink and quite girly doll, has beautiful ribbon wings, and beautiful curly pink hair and a tattoo that has to do with animals, as Bella is quite the animal lover. Luna, a baby blue colored doll with fuzzy wings and long, straight hair, has a dancing themed tattoo, to represent her wishes and dreams as well. These different personalities are really adorable and reading all about Hope on the back of the box brought a lot of joy to both of the girls, who were happy to know more about their new friend.

We took to our local Smyths to take a look at the other dolls in the set, where Amelia said her second favorite was easily the fuzzy winged doll, Luna, because she was so soft and pretty. All three of these dolls do look like they’d be best friends, which is lovely if you’re looking to collect them all! We are hoping that there will be more Dream Seekers in the future – maybe one that is quite glittery, to add to the collection. I quite like how easy the dolls are to put away, allowing them to sit on a shelf on display when the kids aren’t playing with them – and Robin has taken to bringing Hope to bed with her.

You can find Dream Seekers at your local Smyths or on Amazon.
