FlipSlide is a new type of Bop-It

FlipSlide

[Ad- gifted product] When I was a kid, I had a Bop-it that I carried around with me, whenever I went somewhere that I might need a bit of entertainment. We have had Bop-It’s at home, and our girls have really enjoyed the little hand-held gaming experience. When we heard about FliplSide, which is way less of an awkward shape, and sort of reminds me of Simon Says.

FlipSlide is a flat, sort of rectangular light up toy. There is a narrator in the toy, which tells you what to do! The middle four squares light up, and you need to pull the outer two sections, which are solod squares of color, to match the color on the led screen. Once you match them, it will turn yellow. The colored squares are in groups of two, and have two sides, as well as can slide to hit two sides of the led square, if that makes sense.

This may sound really complex, but much like a Bop-It, it becomes muscle movement and quickly flipping around the colored squares and moving them becomes something that you can do quickly without thinking much. The game itself has four different ways to play; a multiplayer mode where you can pass and play after each match, a speed mode where you need to be quick or it turns yellow, a memory mode where you need to remember the colors as they disappear, and a default game mode that I mentioned previously.

FlipSlide is a really fun game to play. It’s compact enough to travel with us on a bunch of adventures and has enough gameplay modes to keep Robin and Amelia entertained. It’s a great option especially if you are looking to cut down on screen time or do something that doesn’t require WiFi or charging! The battery life of FlipSlide is very good as well, with us using it often and not needing to replace the batteries yet! This is a really neat little toy and brings a lot of the joy I remember having when we all played with the Bop-It.

I used to love bop it although I wasn’t that quick for it so I was never that good. This sounds like a fun compact game to keep everyone occupied x

I like that changeable batteries are available. no need to keep a wire around to charge. Just start it up and play either multiplayer or on your own.

If your kid is into rubix cubes and loves solving puzzles quickly, then this is a great buy. My nine year old niece loves it.
