Lush Christmas Bathtime Favourites Gift Box | Review

Lush Christmas Bathtime Favourites

We are a big bath bomb house, with everyone always picking out and trying new bath bombs. Though we normally stick with our monthly subscription from Pretty Suds, I could not resist the Lush Christmas Bathtime Favourites, and as it was for a limited time only, I wanted to pick it up! This box has 10 different bath bombs in it and comes perfectly wrapped in a big present box, which is great for gifting to others, if you are looking for a nice Christmas gift.

Snowman Dreaming, Shoot for the Stars, and Snow Fairy

The first bath bomb selected was Snowman Dreaming – a white snowman that actually has a rainbow inside of it, which slowly lets out color as it melts in the bath. It is a lavender scented bomb, with notes of wood. Watching the bath fill up with color was lovely, as everyone loves a little bit of color. A very nourishing bath bomb, Shooting for the Stars is vibrant in color, with golden stars on the ball. The bath bomb has cocoa butter in it, as well as coconut cream, orange oil and almond oil. It seems quite like honey and brings a vibrant blue color to the bath as well. Snow Fairy has a snowflake that’s blue on one side and one that is pink on the other, creating a very cute bomb. This bomb is so sparkling, smelling amazing, quite flowery.

Butterbear, Jingle Bells and Winter Garden

After the success of Snowman Dreaming, it was thought that the Butterbear might be colorful as well. It turns out, this was incorrect. This bomb contains a lot of cocoa butter, which can make for a really nourishing bath! The sent is ylang ylang, one that we really enjoy, so it was a fun bath – though there was some hope for color. Jingle Bell h as orange and patchouli scents, which are lovely. The colors turn your bath red, white and blue, though not quite Christmas feeling, the bow on the bomb does feel a bit like Christmas! Winter Garden feels more of an adult bath bomb, one to treat yourself with. This bomb has ylang ylang as wel, and a bunch of petals that end up floating around your bath, making you feel like royalty. The scent is slightly floral and the bath becomes quite creamy.

Luxury Lush Pud, Twilight, I want a Hippopotamus for Christmas and Angles Delight

Sadly, our Luxury Lush Pud was pretty destroyed when we got it, with many of the colorful circles on it had popped out. We wrapped it up quickly and were able to dump it into the bath together, which was good. This bath bomb was quite fruity, with cypress oil which is known for being soothing and detoxifying, a great feature in a bomb. Twilight, a very sparkly bath bomb, also had some chunks missing. This bomb was lavendar scented, and is a good path bomb for right before bed or to calm down before sleeping.I think the name for I Want a Hippopotamus for Christmas is quite funny, if I am honest, and with the fruity, raspberry scent, I really quite liked this one. There are also popping candy in it, this bomb is great for kids and adults. Angels Deligh is another sweet scented one, with gold luster that can really make your bath sparkle. It’s got orange and tangerine oils, which are great for your skin too.

Overall, I found the Lush Christmas Bathtime Favourites to be good, though I was sad at the destruction. Lush tries to use minimal packaging, which can sometime end with some minor issues with the bombs themselves, but it’s still a great gift for bath lovers!
