Mini HORNIT – Bike and Scooter light with sound effects

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to riding bikes, Amelia, Kai and Robin have all been enjoying biking around for the last two years! The girls have gone from being quite wobbly – Amelia with training wheels – to confident and flying along. Amelia’s training wheels have even come off. They love taking their bikes out and riding around parking lots or along sidewalks. We also have started going on night time walks around, bringing flash lights with us, and decked their bikes out with wheel lights, in case they want to ride in the late evenings. The Mini HORNIT seemed like a perfect addition and fit with our biking set up!

Mini HORNIT

The Mini HORNIT is a simple to attach bike or scooter light, that you can add to your child’s bike using the silicon straps. They bend around the handle bars, and link back to the main base – and there is a wire line that also wraps around, going on the bike too. This entire light and sound system is battery powered, which is pretty simple to replace due to how easily it can be taken on and off the bike. This main unit has buttons all along the top, but there is also a remote trigger – the second thing connected via a wire, which can allow children to push any button without taking their hands off of their handle bars.

The light can be easily switched on and off, using a single button on the base or on the remote trigger. The sounds, however, have a few different buttons. The Mini HORNIT has far more than just one sound – it can make the noise of animals, motorbikes, old fashion bike bells, police sirens, and much more. Amelia really enjoyed the bomb noise, as it slowly builds down and explodes. There are three volume options as well, from quite, to middle volume, to loud. These different settings can allow you to set up how loud the sound should be for the area that your child is biking in and you can let them pick out the sound they like best for their ride.

Mini HORNIT

The kids all now play cops and robbers with the sound effects – pretending to be police with the sirens running, and trying to pull each other over and capture each other. It’s a pretty fun toy, as well as a really great safety feature for those who are using their bikes alone and in the dark.

This post brings back memories playing with my siblings. We all played cops and robbers with the sound effects also.
