Miniso UK Store Launch in Earling | Haul

[Ad- gifted product] I was invited along to the Miniso Ealing launch – a new store launch happening in London, the first Miniso in England. This Japanese shop has a bunch of different ‘basics’, almost being a shop of curated, cute items that fall under a bunch of everyday categories; mugs, stationary, pens, plushies, chargers, headphones, beauty items, hair ties, makeup sponges, wooden toys, back packs – everything with a cute twist. They even had Marvel baby toys that were simply adorable.

On launch day, there was so much going on! Free boba tea, origami folders, stilt walkers, loads of picture walls – as well as the amazing items within the shop. This place was packed! I didn’t end up getting any shots inside the shop in Earling, but I did look around at all they had. I ended up grabbing a few items of my own;

I got a soft plush broccoli with a very cute face (they also had eggplants (aubergine if you are in England) and bananas in their food plush section) and a very soft blue penguin on it’s belly. Each of these stuffed toys were 6£ if I remember correctly, which feels like a really fair price for the item. They are both soft and big and well made.

I took a look at the wooden toy section (some early Christmas shopping never hurt anyone!) and they had a variety of items from vehicles to little puzzles, but I settled with the Cutting Meat food kit, which velcro together and was 5£. The kit has a cutting board, a wooden knife, a squid, a fish, a clam and a drum stick which can be cut in half. I really like wooden food toys, so this was a perfect fit.

Walking by the hair tie section, Miniso had a bin of hair ties that had little bows on each one, so I grabbed two of them at 1£ each – they are so cute! Also, heading out, I grabbed a pair of earbuds as I had left mine at home. These blue ones were just 5£ which seemed quite reasonable for a simple pair of buds. That completed my shop and I headed to the til, but as I was there for the launch, I was gifted a goody bag filled with a few other items that were also doted around the store.

From cosmetics, I had received two makeup sponges with very cute faces and a facial cleaner that uses vibrations to clean your face. I don’t actually wear makeup, so I gifted these to my friend Anisa, who I actually was seeing that evening. From stationary, I was given a very cute blue bear memobook, from the Cartoon Network Original We Are Bears show. The cover has a little pocket on it for loose bits of paper and the inside has a space labeled Mood recorder, where you can write the date, weather, and fill out how you are feeling using faces that can be colored in. The other side has some beautiful graphics printed on it, as well as a notes area that’s less labeled. I also got a Marvel Semi pen, which has a little keychain character coming off of the top.

There was a medium sized keychain plush toy that’s a sushi cat, with a hidden pocket under it’s velcro sushi fish, which is just as soft and fluffy as the previous plush toys – this was really cool, I don’t know how I missed the sushi cat within the store, but I totally would have picked one up if I saw it! From the technology area, I got a pair of Hi-Fi Metal Earphones in a gold color – you can never have enough earbuds, so this was a good addition! They all came in a cute tote-bag, which has the store’s logo on it.

As a big fan of cute things, I feel that having Miniso in Earling is a good addition to London. I was also very happy at the prices of everything (as London can get overly pricey) everything felt fair and in a good quality. They had a big range of everyday kitchen items as well as a very loaded Christmas/Holiday section – it’s just a great variety with something for everyone!
