Naked Marshmallow Gourmet Marshmallow Toasting Gift Set | Review

We love tying out new activities at our place and we love little kits! Last year, I had a Naked Marshmallow Gourmet advent calendar, with a little toasting pot that meant that each day we could toast up a new marshmallow. This year, I wanted to still try something from Naked Marshmallow – and as it turns out, they have a few festive flavor marshmallows just for the holidays!

We picked up one of these Gourmet Marshmallow Toasting Gift Sets – perfect as a gift or as an activity. With this set, you can pick two flavors to be included – we went for s’mores and chocolate & honeycomb. There was also The other flavors included cookies & cream, mint chocolate chip and chocolate & hazelnut – which all sounded so good, we are probably going to dive into another set in the coming weeks in hopes of trying something new. The toasting kit comes with a small fire tin, which can be easily lit with a lighter, and a bunch of sticks made of bamboo to toast you marshmallows on.

After dinner one evening, we all decided we’d love to try toasting up some marshmallows as a desert! They do get all goey in the middle and crispy on the outside – the perfect warm treat. I really loved the s’mores flavor best – the crumbly cookie outside tastes so lovely toasted. You can really taste the flavors in these – they do come out ever so perfect. The experience of toasting marshmallows and waiting for them to brown is always a fun time, especially from the comfort of inside your warm house. Toasting marshmallows, since this set, has been regularly requested and mentioned at our home, which seems to mean it’s made a lasting impression!
