The seasons have changed and whenever that happens, we look to redecorate our rooms. Our living room is one of the main focuses, as it’s where we spend the majority of our time as a family. When the seasons change, we tend to get a new throw blanket for the sofa, sometimes a new rug, and often new couch cushions. When looking for seasonal items that will change the feel of our rooms, we tend to use the seasons as our frame of reference for inspiration. In the wintertime, we have Christmas themed cushions and winter throw blankets, in the autumn they have a big fall vibe.
So naturally, in the summer, we were looking for some cushions that had an adorable, summertime feel to them, and that’s where Adrianne90’s designs on Redbubble came in! Redbubble, if you’ve not heard of them, is a website where designers can upload their logos, images and designs and then individuals can choose to have these designs on pillows, mugs, notebooks, t-shirts – basically anything really. All of these orders are fulfilled by Redbubble, meaning that the designers don’t have to have a huge inventory of these various items. Adrianne90 is one of these designers, creating so many cute and cheerful designs.
When it came to the perfect summertime vibe, we all really loved these Rainbow Ice Cream pillows (which you can also get as mugs, stickers, note books, phone cases and so much more) – on both black and white backgrounds. Though, the Donuts for Life pillows were very tempting, as the pink icing on the donuts looks amazing. Along with these designs, the travel mug aimed at artists and inspirational quotes did catch my eye – possibly for another day. Adrainne90 is a blogger herself, as well as a podcaster and a designer, creating these designs and selling them through Redbubble.
We got our pillow with inserts, meaning there is a cushion that came in the mail, as well as a cover. The cover had the design, of course. The Rainbow Ice Cream was as vibrant as the pictures, printed perfectly on the cover, with the rainbow sprinkles all around. There is a simple zipper on the cover, which you can unzip to pull out the cushion itself, if you need to wash the cover at some point or want to put the cover on your own cushion. The cushion that we got with our case is fluffy yet firm in shape, exactly what you’d expect with a pillow covering! I really like the look and feel of these – and they really reminded me how deflated our previous pillows were – as we had previously just been switching out covers with the seasons.
I like changing my surroundings to reflect the seasons and pillows are probably the quickest way to do so. I think these look amazing, I’m off to have a look at her shop now
