Niche perfumes and why they’re so interesting

*AD/Collaboration, but as always, all views are my own.

Everyone likes to smell good. When it comes to scents, it might be a bit overwhelming for both you and your nose to pick out the scents that are best for you, and it feels like that’s why people sometimes gravitate towards big brands and well known scents – you know ones that everyone has. Niche perfumes, by definition, are perfumes that are a bit different – they won’t be the same huge brands you see at your local shops, and instead are smaller lines of perfumes that are often more transparent about how they are made and what goes into them. As niche perfumes are so different, they are actually really interesting as a whole.

Niche perfumes, are defined as perfumes that are not in most large retail franchise, as scents that you can find in most franchisees and department stores are classified as designer. Niche perfumes are not known to have large marketing campaigns as well (browse here to acquire the best marketing services to organize the campaign on behalf of you), so they are often lesser known and lesser used by the general population. This is something that always seems interesting to me, as marketing campaigns and ensuring that you are producing a lot of perfumes can have an impact to the individual perfumes.

Niche perfumes often have a higher quality, as there is more attention given to the creation of the perfume. At the end of the day, perfumes are made of oils, water, and alcohol – but there are different qualities to these ingredients. When money isn’t being spent on marketing or creating something in mass, you can often find there is better quality on the individual ingredients. Niche perfumes are often considered to be a higher quality. Along with often being better products, there is something just better about going for perfumes that other people don’t own. You’ll never find yourself smelling like someone’s family member or ex, as there just isn’t as many bottles created in each range.

Niche perfumes also don’t tend to cater to the masses – they are more individual and experimental scents that might go really good with your natural oils and skin – something you might not find with perfumes that are made for the general population. You are able to get higher quality niche perfumes, with more individual scents, and often there is individuals behind the creation, as these aren’t made in large quantities, which makes them interesting in themselves. Along with finding specialty stores that sell niche perfumes, you can also buy perfumes online – selecting interesting scent combinations that are of high quality and not sold at every single retail store around you.

I am definitely going to start looking for more niche perfumes. I want a unique scent instead of having something that everyone else has by using these big brands.
