O-Deer is a silly Reindeer-themed game

O-Deer

[Ad- gifted product] O-Deer is one of those silly party games that reminded us of It’s Bananas!, however this game takes up far less space and is themed for the wintertime! The box itself has a few simple items; six blow up rings, a blow up reindeer antler hat, a red nose and a timer, allowing you to play a variety of different games with your friends and family, all to do with throwing rings at whoever has the antler hat!

O-Deer is a simple game to understand. The lid of the box actually has a few different game play modes, which is quite smart as the lid is much easier to keep track of then a bit of paper, though you can really play however you want! One player puts on the antler hat and red nose, to become Rudolph the red nose reindeer, while another player grabs the rings. You can both worth together to hook the rings on the antlers or the reindeer can try to avoid the rings. There is also a timer, so that you can time each other and see how many rings they can connect in that time or how many can be dodged. It’s a simple concept, that’s just fun and done well.

The antler hat has a little plastic tie on the bottom of the hat, which allows the players to securely tie them on. This is worth mentioning as it’s really well thought through and the antlers can sit on well your head, secured into place as you move around. Robin was the most excited person about this toy in our family, as she is normally well up for anything that is ridiculous and funny. She was dancing every single time she got a ring on her antlers and really having a great time. Amelia was excited to take her turn with the antlers and found it very fun to try and get the rings on when it was her turn to throw too.

Now, the big surprise was Kai enjoying the game. Though he didn’t want to wear the red nose for long, he found the antlers to be funny and became a “hard mode” person who was trying to dodge all of the rings that were going forward. He also got really into hooking rings on others when it was his turn to go – which is great to see. Kai is at that age where he doesn’t very much enjoy playing many games with his sisters and much prefers screens, so the fact that he chose to take part and had a fun time was really a nice surprise.

O-Deer is a game that can work for any age and anyone in your family. It’s funny after a few drinks, it’s great to keep little ones busy and it’s perfect for the holiday season after Christmas dinner is finished, when everyone is just lounging around. This game doesn’t need much space either, which is a plus for those with smaller living rooms or areas to play in, and with so many options on how to play, everyone is in for a good time.

This looks fab! I love a good silly game with the kids on Christmas Eve. I work 12+ hours every year on Christmas Eve and it’s super stressful and high pressure so it’s an amazing way to just unwind and start to enjoy the holiday with them 😍
