Pretty Suds April 2021 Bath Bomb Box | Review

A bit late, but we are finally settled into our new house, so I can finally write about our Pretty Suds box for April! This box had the theme of Perfect Storm, which contained a few favorites from about a year ago, as well as three new bombs I have never seen. It’s also worth mentioning that Pretty Suds have posh boxes now. Previously, the bombs have come in brown boxes that just contained the bombs themselves. This time, the box was purple, presenting the bombs well, and had the Pretty Suds logo on the outside – making it feel quite posh. But, let’s get into the bombs themselves.

Grumpy Cloud & Hygge Cloud

The two clouds in this box have been seen before – Grump Cloud is a red and orange cloud, like a storm brewing. It smells of Purple Rain – the drink – which is quite fruity and fun. When you place this bomb into the bath, you can lightly pull back on it, revealing a trail of deep orange. It’s a fun time. Both of these bombs previously had a black face on them, but this time, the face is just featured as a sticker on the wrapping itself instead of on the bomb. The Hygge Cloud is similar in style, featuring a white cloud with a rainbow that can appear as you pull back on the bomb. It’ sent is fruity and exotic, meant to mimic the sea and make you feel like a vacation.

Thundersnow & Raindrop

The next two were more simplstic bombs – one called Thundersnow, which was a snowflake inside of a star shape. This bomb is pink and purple, with some candy scents to go along with it. It is similar to their blue snowflake, and quite a massive one at that. The Raindrop in this month’s box was full of glitter and blue! This scent was more floral than the others and the glitter itself is biodegradable, which is needed when it comes to the glitter in it.

Lightning Bolt

The Lightning Bolt is more in the same style of the clouds, as there is a strip of dark blue color in it, which can be revealed when you pull it back in the bath. It’s another fruity and floral bath bomb, that has a vibrant yellow color to it. This bomb was very big and we really enjoy these colored strips, which are really fun to play around with!

Overall, I really do enjoy the Pretty Suds collection and it’s great to see that the box has changed to be more posh. It’s really lovely. I do feel that the card this month is lacking – it doesn’t reveal next month’s theme or really talk over the scents of most of the bombs, which is a shame. I was sad that the faces are no longer on the clouds, but that’s okay, as they do look cleaner as stickers on the plastic.
