It’s been a full year since we started getting Pretty Suds subscriptions – which is actually the longest we have ever been subscribed to something! This month had the theme “In Rose Wonderland” – which has nods to Alice in Wonderland – full of cute bombs. Along with the normal box of bombs, there was a container of their egg bombs (the first bombs we actually ordered from this company) which are mystery boxes of six mini-bombs! It was a fun surprise.
Magic Mushroom & Mad Hatter
The Mad Hatter is a neat color – green and white making a pretty pale green bath. It’s scents were cake-like, aimed at being a sponge cake with vanilla buttercream, which is a very interesting idea! The Magic Mushroom was scented around cola and sugar, making another sweet addition to our baths. The mushroom, sadly, was snapped in half when it arrived due to the packaging (by the looks of things) but either was was lovely to use.
Tantalising Teapot & Cheshire Cat
Easily the two favorites in this box, the teapot was a light rose scent, not overpowering in any way, and there are a bunch of flower pedals pressed into the bomb. I’ve never had pedals in my bath, and though they do take a little extra effort to clean up, they make my bath feel extra special and almost like some sort of princess. The Cheshire cat, the most iconic bomb in this box – with a lovely smile painted on, smelled of perfume – almost floral, with sweet caramel scents throughout.
Sunnyside Bath Bomb Eggs
The Sunnyside Bath Bomb Egg selection could have had any of the 30 different eggs! There are common eggs, rare eggs and even ultra rare eggs! Many of these bombs are actually scents that you can find as full bath bombs on their site, though a few are exclusive to the egg sizes. Though these bombs are egg sized, they are still a perfect size for a bath – and a fun little collection for Easter time! None of mine were rare enough eggs to win anything, but you could win something if your lucky.
I bought my partner a couple of sets of bath bombs for Christmas, they love them, and they’re a great self-care gift, especially if you can get the right fragrance
Yeah, they are perfect for a night in.
My daughter loves bath bombs, sometimes it’s hard to find a decent set that either isn’t over scented or includes so much oil that it makes the bath a death trap, I am more than tempted to give these a try, they sound just what we’ve been looking for 🙂
They are lovely.
