We go to Cammas Hall every year and really enjoy their selection of pumpkins. They have an impressive set up of pumpkins and are always adding new features to their pumpkin patch. This year, highlights include a spooky and not-so-spooky walk, a bunch of Pumpkin picture areas, tons of different pumpkins, actors dressed up walking around, and a corn maze.
Pumpkins at Cammas Hall
When it comes to pumpkins, Cammas Hall doesn’t have you trekking into a muddy field. Instead, they have a large variety of pumpkins in a big area, separated by the way they look. There are a ton of different pumpkins from white ones to blue/grey ones, to deep red pumpkins. There aren’t any particularly large ones, but there are plenty to pick from! Kai enjoyed taking the wagon around, but there isn’t too much room when it’s busy. We all picked out pumpkins to take home. Towards the door of the barn of Cammas Hall, there are a bunch of wooden crates of gourds as well, which are always fun to pick through. In this pumpkin area is where there are a few actors, namely a witch walking around. Smoke filled bubbles blew from the stage as well.
Cammas Hall also had a little games area, which had a few different games that you could interact with. The day we went wasn’t too busy, so there wasn’t much of a wait. One of the games involved bowling with heavy pins and the other has you launching balls into a clown’s mouth. It’s simple and not watched, so you do need to reset the games yourself. I found these to be very fun! There is also a bar in this area too.
Spooky Walks
Cammas Hall has two different spooky walks, one for younger children and one recommended for 12 and above. We have always gone through both of them, as we aren’t a very scared household. Going through midday on a weekend, it’s not totally dark in either one either, so it’s not too bad. There are tons of different Halloween decorations and animatronics that are lined this walk, though many of which were behind a fence this year, that really took away from the entire walk. I do enjoy the animatronics though and really loved the projected talking pumpkins! There was a photo area where we could become skeletons too, which was cute. It’s a short walk, but one that’s always quite neat to walk down.
Corn Maze
For a seperate fee to the above Pumpkin Patch Experience, you can go in the large corn maze and the mini-maze aimed at toddlers and younger children. Each year, we do skip out on the younger maze, as we are just not entertained by it at our ages. This year, much like last year, the Corn Maze is dinosaur themed. You do get a little sheet of paper to fill in, by finding a bunch of different signs throughout the maze. There is a map at the start of the maze, with a bunch of markings, so you can really keep track of where you are. This maze has a tower to climb, facts on dinosaurs and a hill to shout your answer on. There are also maps around the maze which I find very helpful.
At the end, we got to hand in our completed sheets for a little goodie bag, that has some activities and paper glasses. The mini-maze has a similar game to it, with people needing to find signs of candy and tick them off, while walking around the maze. Both of these mazes aren’t super tall when it comes to corn, but they are fun.
Inside the barn
Inside Cammas Hall there are a bunch of different Halloween themed items. We picked up a bunch of pumpkin-shaped sweets and grabbed some Halloween decorations. They do have this ice cream stand, which switches all of it’s sweets and even colors the ice cream for Halloween. This is absolutely a must, as the ice cream is delicious and the toppings are so fun! Kai also picked up his favorite Apple Juice.
We always have a fun time at Cammas Hall and this year was no different. Everyone picked out a pumpkin, enjoyed the corn maze, and had a fun time on the spooky walk. Kai did wish that he got candy in the goodie bag as he’s too old for little activities but never for candy, however the ice cream went down a treat.
You can check out our other Days Out to see what else we’ve been up too!
That giant pumpkin mural is awesome! I love that they have a variety of colored pumpkins to choose from to take home. This looks like a fun place, I know my family would love visiting.

That’s what I call a pumpkin farm! We go to a few local patches every year, and they’re so much fun. This looks like a great one!
