Reversible Cats vs Pickles – provide both a cat and a pickle

*AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

Ever since we were first introduced to Cats vs Pickles, our household has loved finding these creatures out and about. Amelia is the biggest collector of the series, who has tons of the tiny plushies, the large plushies, a few of the figures, and often watches some of the Youtube videos associated with the cute and funny characters. If you are new to Cats vs Pickles, it is based on the concept that cats are afraid of pickles (or well, cucumbers), and so these characters include a bunch of quirky cats AND pickles!

The new Cats vs Pickles Reversible plush toys are pretty unique, as they contain both a cat side and a pickles side, that complement each other! We got Garath the cat and Leaf Pickleson, who are both viking-inspired, and Amelia picked out Groovy Cat and Groovy Gill, which are my personal favorites, as they are so colorful. One side of these plush toys are cats, and the other side is a pickle character, and you can easy reverse them, through a hole in the bottom. The cat side has a tail, of course, and ears, where as the pickle side on ours has little horns for Leaf Pickleson, and hair for both him and Groovy Gill.

Having one plush toy that is reversible is like having two in one, as we have both the cat and pickle version. We are totally team cat in our home, but the design of the pickles – especially Groovy Gill – is really lovely. Groovy Gill looks like someone out of SpongeBob according to Robin, who really loved the bright colors of the character. Robin ended up loving Garath and Leaf Pickleson most, and played quite a bit around with them, reversing them almost like a giant, soft fidget.

If your children are interested in puppets, you can use these plush toys almost like a puppet, controlling them and moving them around. That’s the main way of play from our two – they have been using them to tell stories with their larger and smaller Cats vs Pickles being the babies or giants, who might need help. These reversible plush toys aren’t filled with beans, like the previous soft toys, which makes them a different texture and look to the first two types we’ve had as well. Reversible Cats vs Pickles really feels like a great addition to the brand, and getting two toys in one is always a big plus!

I’ve seen these around so much that I may need to get my friends kids some of these. They’re so bright and colourful x

These look so cute. I like the fact that they are reversible as it adds a little more to the toy in terms of play potential.

Great posts for gifts for the kids. They look very plush and cute to have. My daughter is a fan of plush toys a good idea in the future.
