[Ad- gifted products] Now, where I come from in America, I do not think Pick and Mix is a thing. The first time I ever did pick and mix was with Dann, in Sweden! I do have a big sweet tooth, especially for gummies, and so was excited to pick a giant 2kg bag of sweets from Sweets Direct, to be mailed to our house. They do have smaller (and larger!) bags to pick from, allowing you to decide exactly how much you want.

That’s sort of my sticking point with pick and mix in person. You never really know how much things are going to cost until you are done picking. Ordering pick and mix online from Sweets Direct, I had an idea of how much candy I would have in the end and I knew the exact cost. I also knew that no small children’s fingers would have touched any of the candy that I was getting, which is always a plus! To pick your sweets, you can simply when ordering, select the sweets that you want. A 2kg bag, like I got, allows you to pick 20 different candies or you can select more than one scoop of specific ones (we got two of the jelly brains as both Amelia and I love them). They have a variety of both gummies and chocolates that can be picked, though we tried to stick to gummies as that’s what we all like the most of.

The package comes with a cheeky sticker on it, saying the name of the person who ordered it’s Sweets, which Robin thought was very amusing, stating I didn’t need to share as it had my name on it. Our sweets from Sweets Direct came already mixed up, so we didn’t need to dig through layers or the like, and could just eat them. Dann, Amelia, Robin and I dug into a few handfuls on the first day, and were surprised at the texture of the gummies.

All of them were really soft, unlike when you get a pick and mix and the gummies have been standing out in the air. We also got some of the peelable sweets, which we have not had before, that were super fun to eat. It’s very clear all of the sweets are fresh and haven’t been sat out or left to sort of harden. I quite enjoyed the variety of sweets that we could choose from, though Sweets Direct also has mystery bags if you don’t want the choice, along with specific candies in bulk. It was super easy to order and delicious to have been eating!
Am very jealous this is definitely a review myself and my daughter would love. Who does not love pick and mix sweets. Will have to look at their website and treat us
Picking gummies online is the best idea in the world!!! I love gummies…I will check Sweets Direct right away…Gummies Gummies here I come.
I love these kind of candies, to get to mix them and make a bag full sounds like a great idea to make both the kids and adults in my family happy
Yum! I love the sound of getting pick and mix from online. There’s not many places which do it now in real shops. My youngest paid about £15 for some from the cinema and didn’t get half as much. x
This is so fantastic for someone with a sweet tooth like me. I love being able to mix the candies. YUMMO!
I can eat my weight in sweets, so this is perfect for me. I love being able to customize the order. Most places just give you a set choice.
I have a friend with a birthday coming up, and this would be perfect for her! She has a MAJOR sweet tooth.
This sound like a great company! I like how the candy was fresh. Love the idea of mixing candies!
Pick n Mix is always something that was a huge treat as a child. Either from the newsagents or Woolworths. It’s great that these can be ordered online.
Wow, these look so yummy!!! My kids would be over the moon with a 2KG bag of sweets. I love that you were able to select up to 20 different sweet options to be included in the bag.
This sounds like such a fun treat, and I love that you can pick exactly what you want! I’m definitely going to check out Sweets Direct and treat myself to some of these!
Ordering pick and mix online sounds way better than the mystery (and sticky fingers) of in-person bins. I’m definitely adding Sweets Direct to my list for the next movie night.
My kids would love to receive a huge bag like this, don’t think it would last long in our house!
