[Ad- gifted product] We’ve previously checked out the Creepy Cute Sticker Book and a different Creepy Cute coloring book, so were excited to see this new addition: The Creepy Cute Creatures Coloring Book. This coloring book has 30 different pages in it, each with a different animal featured in a creepy yet somehow cute setting, though they did feel a bit more on the creepy side then the previous book that we have colored in.
These types of mindful coloring books are appearing more and more around me; I’ve been seeing loads of wholesome coloring books, but nothing hits quite right like the Creepy Cute Creatures Coloring Book’s aesthetic. The way that these books combine spooky and cute is just so much fun and really stands out against a lot of the other coloring books for tweens and adults that I’ve seen over the last year.
After flipping through the coloring book, Robin picked one with cats, which is very Robin-like for her. Amelia was very interested by the axoltl page, but ended up picking a page full of crows and a scarecrow, as it had “perfect Halloween feel”. I colored in a page that had what we call Sea Pancakes (referring to our cat), but was sea otters. We all very much liked that the different animals had different spooky designs, some having skeleton parts and some having zombie parts.
We spent some time coloring in our pages, which are thankfully only printed on one side, so perfect to color in and not worry about bleeding through. It feels like everything is designed well and thought through, much like with their other Creepy Cute products. They just have their own unique style that feels ideal for teens or people who are into something a little spooky.
The Creepy Cute Creatures Coloring Book has a lot of fun animals, from pets to animals that you might have only seen in the zoo. The backgrounds to these and other objects around are also quite fun to color in, from the donut pool-ring to the sprinkle-covered clouds, it’s a fantastic fantasy world.
