[Ad- gifted product] Is it too early to start talking about Christmas? I mean, I feel that every year Christmas sneaks right up on us, but this year (after not being able to see family last year) we are al really excited for Christmas! And along with that excitement, comes Christmas shopping – from decorations, to gifts, to fun Christmas sweaters. Every year, we tend to get new sweaters around the Christmas theme. This year, we explored ZAVVI, a site with hundreds of Christmas sweaters, that are from various movies, TV shows, and video game to get you into the holiday spirit while also being a bit unique, showing off your hobbies or shows you really like.
Dann, Kai and I all went for the same theme for our Christmas jumpers – we all picked ones from the Mario category. Mario and Super Mario Brothers are really known games that all of our home has played at one point or another – and we all really love to showcase some cute video games! Though we all picked the same theme, we each got very different designs. I went for the Super Mario Kart sweater with traditional looking paters across it – including all of the Mario Kart characters on their cars at the bottom, on a black background. Dann went for the Super Mario Retro Boo jumper, which looks really sleek! It showcases a pattern of snowflakes with Boo and coins inside of it. At first glance, it doesn’t even scream gaming – but after looking at it for a bit you can tell that it is a sweater from a gamer. Kai on the other hand wanted a red sweater and went for a Super Mario Happy Holidays jumper, which features Mario in front of a wreath with a giftbox.
Robin and Amelia are a bit less fans of Mario – and instead went for a few movie jumpers. Robin, of course, is still very much in love with Disney’s Frozen, and was delighted to find a children’s Olaf sweater which features Olaf and his mini-snowman (who Robin calls his babies) as well as a snowflake design, on a black bag round. Amelia looked over all of the sweaters (which took quite some time to be honest) and went with one she thought “had a funny joke on it.” This red jumper is from National Lampoon: Christmas Vacation – a movie she has never seen, but she really loved the phrase “Merry Christmoose” and had to have it. It has a cartoon moose on the front and a red background. She’s very happy with her choice and has since asked to see the movie.
All of these jumpers are screen printed onto sweat shirts, meaning that they aren’t itchy like sweaters made of wool or yarn. The designs are very crisp and there are so many options to choose from! When it comes to the sizing, we found that the sweaters are true to their size, providing for extra room, as these are to be warn over other clothing of course, and we really like the way they look!
Yes! Christmas Jumpers! I love the idea of matching sets for all the family. In past years we were living in very hot places but this year we will be in the UK. I will be placing an order very soon! Thanks so much for sharing!
The UK is nice and cool, even now! Hope you find some you enjoy.
These sweaters are awesome! We would have all video game (Minecraft for my boys, Mario for my husband) and Disney (for me) as well! Mine would be either Olaf, Ariel, or Rapunzel.
There are so many options, something for everyone!
Last year was the first time I managed to talk my family into the matchy sweatshirts and pjs for photos. Maybe letting them know about the gamer sweaters might work better.
I wish you the best of luck!
