[Ad- gifted products] Kai has a Goo Jit Zu action figure, that has a very satisfying feel. These creatures are like action figures, but have bodies that are squishy or moveable, instead of hard like a plastic figure itself. Goo Jit Zu Goo Shifters are a new version of these characters, with 7 different heroes to collect and transform using your goo.
Thrash, the shark Goo Jit Zu Goo Shifter, has a clear body that can be stretched and moved around. It’s really fun to play with, like one of those squishy fidgets. However, there is a slightly different textured plastic-y ball inside of the character. This ball can be squished and popped, which is very satisfying, to change the inside of Thrash.
After this ball is squished inside of the Goo Jit Zu Goo Shifter, the color inside of the character goes from being slightly clear to being a bright blue with lots of glitter moving around it in. It’s so fun to continue to squish and watch move around. Kai found the popping of the ball, to change Thrash and create a goo-formation, to be such a fun thing to do! He was a little afraid of breaking the outside of Thrash, but once he popped it, he was really interested in it!
Stretching the creature afterwards and watching the glitter move around and shift is quite mesmerising, and becomes a great toy to play with either idly or as an action figure. There are a bunch of other shifting Goo Jit Zu figures, including a limited edition character, Corruptagon, who has a light up core instead of a squishy one!
You can find these characters at Smyths Toys Superstores right now.
