Water Art Magic Sticker Creation Kit – Scientific Fun

[Ad- gifted product] We often find ourselves, especially in the summer, playing with toys! It seems that many households default to video games, which we also play a lot of, but having a few engaging toys to break up the day and have screen free fun is always a must. Amelia and Robin have seen Water Art before – we actually included the Brainstorm Water Art kit in our Christmas Gift Guide for kids last year, so when we saw that they now have a Water Art Magic Sticker Creation kit, we were well interested!

Brainstorm is a brand well known for their slightly scientific toys and this water art kit does feel like magic. The kit itself has two stencils, a bunch of markets, a sort of paddle to draw on, and some sticker sheets to transfer your design onto. The idea is simple; draw on the paddle, put the paddle into the water, then slide off the drawing to watch it float. This was previously a viral trend with white board markers, but this kit does such a better job and the little paddle is a great size for little drawings!

Once we had filled up some bowls with water, Robin got right to drawing. There is a little bit of a learning curve to the Water Art Magic Sticker Creation Kit, as when you get the design off the paddle and into the water, you need to be very slow and careful. Amelia, very interested in what we were doing, came over and showed us how to perfectly get the designs off. She’s got such a patient touch that me and Robin just don’t have. When you get the designs floating, you can then use the sticker sheets provided to capture your design, by dipping them into the water.

We let our stickers dry for a bit before cutting them down and then sticking them to Robin’s notebook. It’s such a cool idea to keep the designs in the form of the stickers. Amelia really enjoyed making Pokemon stickers that she is sharing with her friends where as Robin made a few for her diary. The best thing is, once they both figured out how to get the designs off the paddle, they played on their own for over an hour, creating and destroying the different designs. It’s a fantastic toy for a screen-free afternoon.

This kit sounds like pure joy in a bowl of water! I’m amazed at how it blends creativity with a touch of science. what a clever way to spark curiosity in kids and adults too. Watching your own drawings float and transform into stickers must feel like real-life magic.
