Arctic Iced Coffee

AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

Hot coffee has never really been something I enjoyed. I always figured it was the warm aspect of it; I only tend to drink warm things in the Winter or super cold Autumn months. Whenever most people grabbed a coffee, I’d pull an energy drink out of my bag, going for something cold and refreshing. Then, I went on a iced coffee spree after getting one at random, at a coffee shop I was at for a meeting. Iced coffee is a great break from the artificial and flavored notes of energy drinks. When Arctic Iced Coffee was looking for people to try their drinks, I had to try them.

Arctic Iced Coffee

Arctic Coffee Cafe Latte

Dann, a regular hot coffee drinker, and myself went to taste two of their products, the first being their Arctic Coffee Cafe Latte drink. My followers on Twitter described this one as their favorite and I think I agree personally. Arctic Iced Coffee’s Latte is a bitter coffee bean with a creamer taste that sticks around until the end, making sure you don’t leave on too much of a bitter note. This was the smoother of the two for me, probably because of how the coffee didn’t end with such a bitter note from the beans that had been roasted.

Arctic Blast Cold Brew Protein Shot

Unlike the previous coffee, this one was bitter until the end. It tasted very much like the same roast, but with a bit less sweetness towards the end. The idea of having a protein shot within your coffee is pretty interesting and the brew itself was quite refreshing. It gave me a good wake up and was a nice, cold start to the day. I quite enjoyed the latte, so comparatively, I was missing some of the sweetness that I enjoy with my coffee. Dann enjoyed this one best and commented on how the roast of both tasted very similar to the roast of bean he likes hot – so having them cold was a very refreshing twist.

Arctic Iced Coffee

If you’re looking for some iced coffees that have a more bitter roast, Arctic Iced Coffee do have you covered. It’s well worth tasting what they have to offer, especially in the warmer months when you probably don’t want anything hot.
