Naturtint Nourishing Shampoo & Conditioner Bar | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Known for their natural hair colorant, Naturtint now has a variety of Shampoo & Conditioner bars, each specially formulated for a different purpose. One bar is designed to help protect colorant, another to strengthen hair, and a third to nourish hair. My hair always needs a bit of nourishing – I often find my hair to be frizzy at times. For this reason, I picked out the Nourishing 2 in 1 shampoo and conditioner bar.

One of the first things that took my interest in this is actually the packaging. Previously, I had gone for shampoo and conditioners that are in big plastic bottles. In a world where we need to cut down on single use plastics, this is one of the few that I have actually kept in my lifestyle. This Naturtint bar is in a small, cardboard box – no plastic packaging, no additional materials that need to be recycled or processed. It’s great to not have a huge chunk of plastic to throw out at the end of use.

Pumpkin Cat Treats | Recipe

It’s Halloween and that means everything is pumpkin! I felt that it would be cool if Pancake took part in some of the Halloween festivities. With this in mind, we went down the route of Pumpkin Cat Treats! Pumpkin is pretty good for furry friends, being a good source of fiber, Vitamin C, E and A, as well as great for preventing hairballs. Making your own treats is a very easy thing to do – not only will you know exactly what your furry friend is eating, you will also have control over how much!

From monsters to skulls to ghost, there is something for everyone in this box.

Hello Kitty Narikiri Face Mask: Zombie | Review

When it comes to face masks, it’s pretty clear I enjoy clay based masks best, with paper based masks being my least favorite. But sometimes, I do come across a mask just too cute and too themed to pass up, even if it is paper. While visiting the Spooky Gudetama the Lazy Egg x Artbox Cafe & Boutique earlier this month, I saw the Hello Kitty Narikiri Face Mask: Zombie and couldn’t resist the cuteness of Hello Kitty and the Halloween theme of zombie!

Unfiltered Me | Sharing a bit about myself

[Ad- collab] Social media and what is put out into the world is often described as the best parts of people’s lives. They project what they want the world to see, and hide away anything else. Filters, editing, only showing good bits of life seem to be the go to way that people use the internet, however, I have always made it an effort to show the highs and lows of my life. I’ve shared unflattering pictures on Twitter, showed off moments of failure on Facebook and Instagram, and continued to just be – me. I don’t have much time to edit myself down to this perfect version, to filter until there is something that everyone will instantly go too.

Through this, I have found myself become more approachable – I am not this perfect person with a perfect life. I have imperfections, my skin isn’t baby soft, I am a real human who you can really see and talk too. When using dating sites, this is something to heavily consider, as it’s much better to be comfortable in your own skin as apposed to creating an image of something you are not. It’s important to continue to be yourself, even if yourself is quirky, funny, loud, not perfect.
