Dann and I love to do a bit of self care from time to time. Whether it’s long baths or face masks, the time spent relaxing is important. Face masks have more benefits as my skin has a habit of being quite spotty from time to time, so trying out different masks and finding new ones that feel just right have been a fun journey lately. I’ve spent some time picking out my favorite facemasks that can help you transform your skin to be smooth, soft and glowing.
[Ad- gifted product] I don’t know about your pets, but Pancake, our cat, is a bit of a messy eater. He is close to the floor, so food often falls there. As it’s getting closer to summertime, we’ve found this has attracted ants. I hate ants. So now, we have been cleaning up his food area every day so that ants don’t find the food they want! Kitty Cats Joy really helped us out with our clean-up, thanks to their personalized pet food mats, which come in a bunch of different designs for both cats and dogs!
In our quest to find the best subscription box for cat owners, this month I tired out the Cattitude box, which had the theme Ohh Sweet Purrs – something food related, perfect for our household. Cattitude is a subscription box that doesn’t just focus on your furry friend but also has lots of lifestyle items that are all cat themed. I was really happy with this box all together – it’s a cute design, I love the monthly themes and I do feel the amount of items and quality of those items were well worth it! Let’s get into what was in the box.
[Ad- gifted product] As the sun is shining and the birds are, as always, doing their big chirps in the morning, everyone seems to be trying to spend more time in their garden! As we have been organising our garden too, we decided to make some treats for the lovely birds that have been chirping in our front yard, in hopes that they will wander back to the back yard and play outside there. These bird feed balls are easy to make, nice to hang up and feel like slime when you are creating them – so if any of your little ones like making slime, they’ll probably be interested in helping out.
Our household goes through so many bath bombs. We normally order, quite often, from Lush – but during the pandemic, Lush is currently closed. This meant that we got the chance to try out some new bath bombs! In my Body Shop Mini-Haul, I talked about how I got bubbles and bubble bars because their bath bombs just weren’t very fun looking. That’s a big thing for me, I like bath bombs to have good color payoff and to be in neat shapes and colors. Pretty Suds does lots of cute bath bombs and after getting a haul from them, I loved their individual bombs so much that I ordered their monthly subscription box!
