[Ad- gifted product] We have been a fan of Wright’s Baking since this Orange Cake Mix. It was one of the first things we picked up at our local Tesco. Orange is something Kai absolutely loves and having some sort of new muffins for breakfast is always on our list of things to do. We tend to do a lot of muffins with this mix, but Amelia choose to mix it up and make an Orange Cake Loaf to have with breakfast.

We felt really summery this week, with a lot of different dishes that might have been more work then they were worth! But, the food was filling and delicious, which is all that really matters in the end. We had quite a few fun dishes from Breakfast for Dinner to zucchini shaped into roses with cheese in the middle. It was our 5 year anniversary, so we went to The Lakes Hotel and Spa for three days to celebrate. We actually went to this hotel last year, for our 4 year anniversary, and really fell in love with not only the area of England that we were in but also the quality of this hotel. The Lakes Hotel is fancy, and when I say fancy I do mean really fancy. On arrival, when getting to the gate, they know your name and ask about your travels. When you get in to the building, you are given a welcome glass of prosecco and a tour of the place, before your concierge takes all of your bags upstairs and shows you your room.

[Ad- gifted product] Pear Shaped is the newest addition to our wall of table top games, this time featuring a very unique case for all of your cards! All of the cards are actually shaped like pears and fit inside a giant, bottom heavy pear. This pear actually acts as a timer and a key part of the game, so both the case for this game and the cards themselves are used in playing!
[Ad- gifted experience] Both Dann and I absolutely love exploring new places and new features within places we have visited before. It’s been a while since we’ve been to the Natural History Museum so we were delighted to be invited back to see the Birds: Brilliant and Bizarre exhibition. This is a ticketed exhibition within the free museum, allowing you to learn more about birds throughout history and how the future might affect them. As someone who grew up in a place where we didn’t learn about dinosaurs, this was a very interesting exhibition.
