Polar Panic – Quick Matching Fun

[Ad- gifted product] Quick to carry around tabletop games are always ones that I find are perfect for the afterschool time between school ending and Kai’s DnD starting. We all bundle into our local Geek Retreat, grab a few milkshakes or sodas, and sit down to play games. Polar Panic was the latest on our list; the entire card game fits in a little tin, with the instructions in the lid, making it ideal for carry around with us!

Playing Arcade Games at Gravity Max Stratford

Dann is a big fan of arcades and I am a big fan of adventures! On one of the days of the summer holiday, everyone seemed a bit bored at home, so we all decided we wanted to go to an arcade. Gravity Max has recently opened up a venue in Westfield Stratford, which is quite nearby to us, so we decided to make a day out of it and see what the arcade was all about. Dann and I had recently gone to a Gravity Max for a press event for our day jobs, and ever since have been itching to take our children.

All American Dinner at Zak’s Yankee Diner

It’s become a bit of a tradition to crash Dann’s Mother’s holiday in Waxham Sands each summer. She has a tradition of caravanning in Waxham Sands Holiday Park, but as we aren’t really a caravan family, Dann, our kids and I normally stay somewhere nearby. With that said, I had hopes for Zak’s Yankee Diner, especially as they have three locations and have been going since 1976!

Smash Down – Quick Trivia Fun

[Ad- gifted product] If you’re a fan of trivia, but want to even out the playing field, Smash Down is a fantastic, fast paced, trivia game where you need to physically find the answers on a large board. The board itself is made of four panels, which can be rotated around or even all flipped, to use the other side of the question cards, so just knowing the answer will not be enough.

Triyit Box – Snacks, Treats, Cat Food & More

[Ad- gifted product] The Triyit Box is not a subscription box. Instead, it’s a way for companies to send out new food ranges or food they want feedback on and get feedback from people who might be interested in these products. I got a survey about a potential match, filled it out, and ended up qualifying for a box! This box had a strange mix of cat stuff, treats and drinks. Once you are done trying out the box, you need to fill out a lengthy survey on a bunch of different aspects of the things that you have tried.
