A Day Out at Signs of the Time Music Festival

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I both enjoy a bunch of different types of music, so when we heard about the Signs of the Time Music Festival, we wanted to see what it was all about. We attended the festival on the Sunday, where we were very excited about seeing Feeder and Reverend and the Makers at the end of the evening. Both of us were also helping out the St Clare’s Hospice, who were the charity partners of the event, which means that we spent some of our time there presenting bracelets to people in exchange for donations to the Hospice.

Exploding Kittens – Easy, Luck-Based Card Game

[Ad- gifted product] I feel like everyone has heard of Exploding Kittens, a card game known for having cute yet strange cat-related artwork on each one! Exploding Kittens is created by the same developers as Power Hungry Pets, but was their first ever tabletop game. Henry VIII’s Joust at Hampton Court Palace

If you’ve been around teenagers, you know that they often have a bit of a “meh” personality. It’s just something about being a teen – nothing is exciting, fun or cool anymore. We went back to Hampton Court Palace to see Henry VIII’s Joust!

Baking with Wright’s Baking Scone Mix

[Ad- gifted product] Every year, we go to Cammas Hall and pick some strawberries! All of our kids agree I make the very best homemade jam ever, and picking strawberries is always a fun start to creating jam. This year, we got enough strawberries for two entire jars of jam and decided we wanted to make some scones to go with them. The Wright’s Baking Scone Mix is a really simple and easy option when it comes to making scones.

Family Dinner at Ole Rochester

While going to an event in Rochester, we wanted to go out for a nice meal! Dann got to picking a location, and as I had just gotten back from Madrid, he figured having a bunch of Spanish food would be fun. Dann’s grandmother is Spanish, so he had Spanish food growing up, however we don’t make much Spanish food and often don’t eat it. Dann excitedly selected Ole Rochester and it was a fantastic decision.
