Dole Fruit Jelly for Packed Lunches and Snacks!

[Ad- gifted product] I feel like Dole is a household name or at least one that I have grown up with and always had in my house! They were known as “the banana brand” but moved into lots of other fruit-related things, including jelly, as well as vegetable related things like salad bags. We often actually have Dole Fruit Jelly for breakfast, specifically the orange jelly with mandarin oranges in it, as it’s a big family favorite. Jelly is just a common snack in our household and as we often have jelly packed in our packed lunches, when Dole reached out asking if we wanted to review some more of their kids jellies, we were pretty excited! These three flavors of jelly included my absolute favorite fruit cup and two new ones for Kai, Amelia and Robin to try.

Celebratory Dinner at Sevine Brasserie

Sevine Brasserie, a stylish new Mediterranean food stop, opened up last year in the Water Gardens in Harlow! It’s a place that Dann and I have walked past dozens of times, looking like a great, upscale lunch, brunch and dinner venue. Often, there are people enjoy coffees outside around lunchtime and drinks in the evening. They have really ramped up this year, providing a lot of outdoor music and entertainment for the local community. Dann and I both kept saying we would eat there soon, so when I finished and submitted my book to my publisher at the start of this month, it felt like it was time to eat somewhere new, and Sevine Brasserie came to mind!

Birth control is one of those things that most people use in their lives, however, it’s not talked about as much as you’d think. There are a bunch of different birth control options, with the most popular generally being a tablet that is taken daily. When I was exploring birth control options, the tablet wasn’t a good fit for me – the side effects were terrible, I didn’t like having to remember these tablets and needing to carry them around when I travelled – it just all felt really inconvenient. So I looked into the Depo-Provera which is an injection based birth control. For me, this is the best possible birth control and I have had a good time on it. Some people prefer alternatives like the birth control patch, which offers a more consistent method without the need for daily reminders.

Pencil Nose – Drawing with your Nose!

[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to games, we often play a lot of board games as a family and have moved towards toys that can be played together instead of individually. Pencil Nose could be considered a tabletop game, but in a more children’s toy sense, sort of like Pictionary, but with it’s own unique twist! Whether it’s a board game or a collective toy, we did have a ton of fun playing it together!

Splashing about at H2O Rampage Inflatable Aqua Park

A few years back, we went to an inflatable aqua park. Since then, we’ve gone to smaller versions on holiday, but it’s something all three of our children have mentioned regularly. This summer, Kai has asked to do “more high energy things” so we started looking at inflatable aqua parks again. Everyone loves spending sunny days in the water and we hadn’t visited H2O Rampage Inflatable Aqua Park before, so we decided to book it up! You get an hour long slot, which is just enough to utterly exhaust any adults and teens alike, despite them all saying that an hour isn’t long!
