[Ad- gifted products] Winter time is in full swing! In England, it’s windy and gloomy out, so I always feel like I want to wear brighter colours to bring more joy into our lives! Layering is always my friend in winter, as keeping warm is needed with the wind cutting through our souls. With Yours Clothing, one of my favourite plus sized brands, I wanted to share two looks that I have been basically living in since the season has taken a turn.

Moodify – Cat Odor Remover
[Ad- gifted product] When it comes to having cats, one of the few downsides are litter boxes. We have done our best to have robotic litter boxes, which do very much help with the scent and having to scoop, however two of our litter boxes are still normal ones. With these sorts of things, there is always a smell. Dann and I have a little wax melter that we use to mask the smell, but are looking for other alternatives. That’s when we came across Moodify.
A Day Out at Glow Wild Wakehurst
It’s been a few years since Dann and I went along to Glow Wild Wakehurst, a yearly illumination event! We are both big fans of illumination trails and aim to take our children to one each year, and this year we selected Glow Wild Wakehurst, as they had not been to this specific one previously. Glow Wild Wakehurst has a different theme each year, with completely different illuminations and even a different path through the gardens so that it does all feel fresh and new.

Hazelnut Melting Moments Cookie Recipe
When it comes to wintertime, one of the fondest memories I have from when I was a child was creating cookie trays with my grandmother. Though there were tons of gingerbread cookies and sugar cookies that you can decorate, my favorite to eat was always these Hazelnut Melting Moments cookies, which are crumbly, hazelnut cookies with chocolate! They are a bit less moist than other cookies, and feel like they go great with hot chocolate or other warm drinks. This recipe was actually written by my grandmother herself!

Best Meze Grill – Really lovely food and atmosphere
We have spent a lot of this year going to Legoland, and there is one thing that Legoland sucks at; food. There really isn’t any good food to eat there, so we started looking for places nearby that would be able to fill our bellies with dinner. Best Meze Grill is a Turkish restaurant that really lives up to it’s name. The building is small, but cozy, with the owner always on the floor, ready to recommend you food and be one of the most accommodating owners I have ever met. We’ve essentially become regulars at this establishment as it is just so good.
