[Ad – Gifted Products] We are a family that loves adventures, especially adventures that involve getting out of the house! One thing we do, especially during the summer and spring months, is picnic lunches or dinners. We have found that nearby our home, there is a lovely greenspace. What we like to do is pack up our lighter dinners and lunches, as everyone seems to eat lots of snacks and smaller heavy meals, and take them with us on a walk. Recently, we got the b.box lunchbox, which is absolutely ideal for it, so Dann, Amelia, Robin, Kai and I all headed over one sunny day!
When we go on picnics, we try to make things as fun as possible! We often pack sushi, which is a big favorite in our household. The b.box lunchbox has a little tray that separates the ice pack from directly touching the food, which is perfect for filling that section with sushi. One side of the lunchbox has a slidable divider, which can also be removed, along with three further sections that all are drip proof (great for yoghurts and the like.) We filled ours up to the brim, grabbing the b.box snack box to add in a little extra snacks. I do feel the b.box snack box is perfect for a vegetable and a dip, but we aren’t a huge dip household, so we doubled up on some vegetables.
We find that the b.box lunchbox is such a perfect size for a bunch of snacks at a picnic. It’s also great for larger lunches, if you want to bring a variety of food for longer days at work or hungry eaters at school. I also really appreciate how everything can be pulled a part and put into your dishwasher! The plastic inlay that makes things water proof can be taken out, the shelf that protects the ice pack, and the plastic lid can all be placed into the top of your dishwasher so that you can wash up easily! It’s the same with the b.box snackbox too.
We also brought along our b.box water bottle which has an easy open, button-push lid and is insulated to keep drinks really cold or nice and warm. This bottle is also a great size for younger children to carry. The lemon twist color set just feels like summer, and we are sure this will be our go-to lunchbox set for heading off to the beach.
