Both Amelia and Robin have a collection of different dolls, but none are like the BeKind Dolls – a new range which promotes kindness, creativity, and is made from recycled materials. Some of the plastic used for the toy and their accessories are made from recycled plastics, the ink is made from soy beans, and the doll’s clothing is eco friendly with great messaging.
These dolls also come in two sizes, 15 cm doll and 37 cm, with five different dolls in each size. We have a doll of each size and gave Robin the smaller one with Amelia getting the larger one. Amelia’s larger doll’s packaging also continued the eco friendly concept, as the packaging could be turned into different backdrops and floorings for her doll to play around with. Both of these BeKind Dolls are really beautiful, with bright colored hair and fun accessories. Amelia’s had a little craft project with it too, where she could sew a cushion for her doll, using the provided string and fabric. There was also a little tracing shape for drawing, some extra fabrics, a brush, a hair clip in her hair, and a little stuffed pillow for her to play with!
Amelia was really impressed with how much you can pose BeKind Dolls, in the larger size. They have quite a few different joints that can be used to move around the doll into different positions. That way, you can hold your objects or sit in different ways. Both of the girls both really loved the hair on these dolls as well. The smaller BeKind doll doesn’t have as many joints, but both have really beautiful and silky hair to brush and play with. The smaller doll also came with a pet accessory, which Robin really loved!
The clothing easily came off and on both of the dolls, so you can mix and match if you’d like. BeKind Dolls feel really well thought out, from the use of the packaging in play to the outfits that these dolls are wearing. I love the idea of the dolls coming with a little DIY project, which just brings more fun to playing with them! It’s a really lovely and eco friendly idea.
