When it comes to toys to do with space, we have quite a few. Kai went through a massive space phase, getting loads of scientific books, toys, telescopes and so much more, but we never got our hands on a projector. This projector is really great. The light itself makes the images very clear – the pictures in this post are actually taken at midday, as we often forgot to take pictures at night, when we were all ready for bed. Even though it was the middle of the day, you can easily see all of the details in the pictures that it presents, which is really impressive. Kai spent a lot of time telling everyone what everything was, while the girls liked looking at the stars and talking about how beautiful they were! It’s a really lovely little projector to take a look in.
The Brainstorm Toys Night Sky is useful beyond the various space disks that you can put in. When everyone was done looking at outer space and being amazed, they started using the light for hand puppet shows, which was really fun to do as well! This projector became a toy used for both learning and for imaginative play, which is very lovely to see.
This is so cool! My son has a globe that lights up to show stars through it at night, but the projector would be so much more fun!
