AirHop Chelmsford – Bouncing to great heights

Previously, we have attended JumpStreet in Chelmsford, to go on the rock walls. The location is sort of divided into three sections; rock walls, soft play, and a trampoline park. Now that JumpStreet has been rebranded to AirHop, we felt it was fitting to check out more of the new features, which are all in the trampoline section of the place. This area has a lot to do; trampolines, arcade-style games involving jumping, dodge ball, massive slides, knock-off-platform areas, and a soccer arena type place with targets!

Houdini’s Greatest Escape – Touring Performance

[Ad- gifted experience] Dann and I were excited to see Houdini’s Greatest Escape at Northampton’s Royal & Derngate, a new venue that we had not attended before. This performance is traveling all around England, so it is well worth seeing if your local theatre has a performance going, especially as it was such a spectacular, funny show!

Laser Planet – A Large Laser Tag Arena

One of the things that Kai wants to do in 2024 is go to a bunch of laser tag arenas. This is a goal he has, and since he is a teenager who isn’t that interested in much, this is something we are going to be doing each month! Our first laser tag outing was to Laser Planet in Watford. This was an entirely new laser tag arena for us, and we were pretty excited to get into it!

Building Dens at Parndon Wood Nature Reserve

[Ad- gifted product] Whenever the weather takes a turn for the better, we find ourselves going to our local nature reserve. Parndon Wood Nature Reserve not only has a bunch of seasonal activities, like Forest Bingo, Photography Contests, and Nature Trails filled with stuffed animals to spot, but they always have a few areas that are well set up for people to explore. If you want more of a quiet walk, you can go to one of the many bird-viewing platforms to see some birds dotted about. If you are full of energy (or have children that are full of energy) you might want to check out the den building area.

Playing Squid Game in the Immersive Gamebox

[Ad- gifted experience] Earlier in the year, I was invited to the Immersive Gamebox to check out Squid Game. Squid Game at the Immersive Gamebox is based on the Netflix TV show of the same name, with a few of the classic mini-games from the TV series made into a fully immersive video game. This game allows two to six players to spend an hour in the world of Squid Game, with a variety of different challenges to take on. I was able to play in two player mode when I attended.
