Afternoon Tea on the Grinchmas Bus with Outright Games

[Ad- gifted experience] Robin and I went along to the Grinchmas Bus to check out The Grinch: Christmas Adventures, the video game, in style. The Grinchmas Bus Afternoon Tea experience is one that is ideal for those who love The Grinch or video games, and want to do something quite unique this holiday season! Though the Grinch himself isn’t onboard, this is an experiencer that really highlights the magic of the season.

The Christmas Lobster – a Hilarious Christmas Performance

[Ad- gifted experience] We were all invited to The Christmas Lobster at Farnham Maltings, a new theatre that we’ve previously not attended! Very excited to see a play that is so perfectly themed for Christmas, we were ready to figure out what exactly this lobster had to do with the holiday itself. The Christmas Lobster is a funny, kid-focused performance with a lot of audience interaction and humor that plays with the idea that the audience is there, which always adds a good level of fun!

Meeting Santa at The Tall Twinkling Tree

When driving somewhere, we saw a giant tree full of lights on the way. Our children wanted to go see it, so I started looking at what exactly this huge, peaking over the fence, light up tree actually was! A Day Out at Enlightened Colchester Castle

We aim to get to at least one lights trail with our children this time of year! It’s been a tradition for so many years, that we are running out of new light trails to take them too! Enlightened has a few different locations and is one of the first light trails we took them too, at Hyde Park. This is probably our favorite children-focused light trail, due to all of the interactive elements and children’s themed elements along the trail. This year, we went to Enlightened Colchester Castle, which was as amazing as expected!

Dick Whittington – a fabulous panto

[Ad- gifted experience] I am going to start this off by saying, as an American who lives in England, I have never actually gone to a panto. I didn’t really knew what one was, going into this, but here we are! Dann and I went along to Dick Whittington, a wonderful, fun, zany panto that is good fun for the whole family! I was truly impressed by both the actors within this performance and the British population, who all seemed to know exactly when to take part in this performance.
