While in Bilbao, Spain, I had the opportunity to eat loads of traditional food from that area. Soon, I took a break to try some of my favorite food; Japanese. Nearby the Guggenheim Museum, there was a restaurant called Wasabi Bilbao- featuring a beautiful looking menu that I just couldn’t pass up. This, as it turns out, was a very good choice when it came to some very delicious food.
[Ad- gifted product] With the children going back to school and back to staying home again in the evenings, we have been looking for new toys and games to limit their screen time but keep them entertained. After our last bundle of toys, we figured we’d try some new items and keep things interesting in our household. PoundToy always has many deals on their website, cheaper items for sale, and lots of bundles of goodies for you to pick up.
We picked out a bunch of toys and wanted to share what the kids loved most of all. These toys and activities have kept them busy in the run up to school and beyond – and it’s good to see them off of video games and in the moment.
[Ad- gifted product] Pancake loves treats! He’s a pretty spoiled cat, so treats are apart of his weekly life, getting rewarded for being a cute, adorable little cat. There are a variety of different treats out there for cats from biscuits to sticks to jellies that cats just love to lick up! We took a look at all of the different Weebox Treats and decided to talk about how much Pancake and I love them.
[Ad- gifted product] I use notebooks a lot in my daily life. As a big fan of lists, breaking down projects into bite-sized pieces, and having everything in one place, I use a variety of notebooks to hold many of these lists and bits of information. I even have a small collection of tiny notebooks specifically for events or writing notes while out and about, in case I need to write about something later. The Old English Co has a large collection of notebooks, including ones that have inspirational quotes or phrases on them, which can be personalised further!
The children seem to really enjoy themed adventure golf and Mr. Mulligan’s has an indoor golf course, something we’ve never been out too. Seeing that the weather is cold and somewhat rainy, an indoor course is just what we were looking for! We ended up opting for the one in Stevenage which has a giant submarine on the top of the building, which is really cool to see from the outside.
Once inside, we had the option of one of two courses; an easier, under the sea course or a more challenging jungle themed course. As Robin is three and most of the time can be found kicking the ball with her feet or just dropping it into the end hole after giving up, we decided to go into the under the sea area. This was themed with mermaids, octopuses, sea creatures and had a boat of it’s own. The course itself was quite compact, which is the main downside of being indoors. Many of the holes were right on top of each other, which meant that it was hard to find a place to stand while someone was taking their turn or while waiting.
