Lily’s Kitchen Christmas Spectacular Advent Calendar & Turkey Dinner

We wanted to check out all of the Christmas advent calendars we could for Pancake! So, after taking a look at Scrumbles, we grabbed Lily’s Kitchen Christmas Spectacular Advent Calendar, and while we were there, we also wanted to pick up one of their Turkey Dinner wet food packs, which is perfect if you want to give your pet a special dinner on Christmas! Both of these are such a cute idea and can really feel like you are including your cat in all of the Christmas traditions. Let’s first talk about the advent calendar.

Paw Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay | Review

[Ad- gifted product] As you might well know, both Jupiter and I work in video games. As such there are tons and tons of games and gaming equipment littering the house. If you’re a fan of games then I’m sure you can imagine how exciting this is for children, but there is a bit of an issue which is that, especially for Robin the youngest, a lot of these games are either too complex or not appropriate for her. She often tries to play games that are a bit too advanced for her, dying to creepers in Minecraft and getting a bit frustrated when she doesn’t know where to go in Spyro. This inspired us to find some games that would be better suited for her. Our first stop was PAW Patrol: On a Roll! She really enjoyed this game, being a huge fan of PAW Patrol, and with PAW Patrol: Mighty Pups Save Adventure Bay out, we figured we’d take a look at that too.

4 Tips for Creating Open Plan Houses

The newest trend in England seems to be creating more open plan houses! So many houses within this country seem to have been boxed up, to get the most flats out of their limited divided spaces, but as families are growing – they are looking for the more American styled, open-planned houses! There are lots of renovations that can be done to make your home more open planned, provided you have the money and drive to change your home around. With this in mind, I figured I’d share some tips on making a home more open plan when doing renos!

Think About Flow

Often when people think about open plan, they start removing walls. This is a great starting point, however, flow needs to be kept in mind. In the last year, I cannot tell you how many houses had just started destroying walls, creating rooms that had no flow. I went into one house that had you open the front door onto the sit down dining room, as it was just a very long, separated room, with a small archway into the actual living room – as there was no walls left for a TV to fit and a couch! Even if your home is open planned, you will need to actually do the planning of where rooms would be and how the flow from the front of the house into the rest of the house would feel.

Executive Black Glasses | Trendhim Giveaway

[Ad- gifted product] We have previously worked with Trendhim, with their Canvas Bag, which Dann really enjoyed taking to events (back when travelling to and from events were more of a thing). As it’s getting close to Christmas time, Trendhim wanted to run a little giveaway with an item that we had been enjoying. Lately, Dann has joined the glasses club, looking to take better care of his eyes. After getting blue light glasses for when he uses screens, he ended up picking up the Executive Black Glasses, which are some lovely looking sunglasses that work great for protecting your eyes from the sunlight.
