The Map of Everyone – Personalised Map | Review

[Ad- gifted product] Dann is a huge fan of maps. He’s got loads of them scattered about, although some have gotten a bit warn over the years. The biggest map we have, featured in the living room, is a map of the world that gets scratched off whenever we end up in a new country or state, with the hopes of it eventually being a full, colourful map. With his love of maps in mind, when The Book of Everyone reached out with a personalised map, I jumped on the opportunity.

After talking over loads of locations for The Map of Everyone, we settled on Loughton – a town quite near to us that we tend to visit regularly. Loughton train station is the one we take into London every time we want to go into the town, and it is the train station that Dann use to meet me at for tabletop nights. There is a restaurant called Wing Shack in Loughton, which is my favourite wings place and Dann’s overall favourite place to eat. Often we have little nights out at the pub in Loughton or just spent walking around the town, to see the shops and go shopping. It’s just a cute town that we always seem to end up at when we have few spare hours to hang out and don’t want to be at home. At one point, we started joking about how the town was basically ours.

A Day Out in London Bridge

*AD /Sponsored– see footnote

I’ve lived in London for a few years, but haven’t actually ever gone to a specific area to spend time and explore! Dann and I went out to the London Bridge area, with a budget in our pockets, looking to do whatever we stumbled upon. It was a long day out, and we ended up doing a mix of tourism and finding smaller gems that are within the area. If you want to do a day out in the London Bridge area, but unlike us, don’t live nearby, there are loads of hotels near the Shard to pick from.

2020 Goals

We are getting closer and closer to the end of 2019. It’s been a rough year, loads of changes, but I have survived and that’s all that matters. 2020 is, so far, matching up to be an equally challenging year starting off basically the same way, but I think it’s one we can all last through, even with everything going on. There is a lot more personal stuff to come that I know will knock the wind out of me, but focusing on the positive, I wanted to join in with these goal posts! Thinking about goals is a bit challenging, because I tend to just do the things I want to do, instead of making big goals for the entire year. I guess these goals would be more for the start of 2020 to mid 2020, because who knows what the end of the year will even look like.

Without further more conversation, I will now share my goals for 2020, a year with a very cool name:

Play Snow by Zimpli Kids – Snoball | Review

[Ad- gifted product] It doesn’t really snow in England. Where Jupiter grew up, snow covered the ground by Halloween, causing snow days and road closures by Christmas. She is very fond of the memories of snow, though she never enjoyed the cold, snow down the back of the shirt events that would come with a white, winter dusting. Snow ball fights are something you can see in most TV shows and movies around the time of Christmas, but in England, that’s just not really possible.

This year, we got some Snoball mix from Zimpli Kids. Not sure what to expect, we figured this would be perfect to play with in the holiday before Christmas. The children seemed very interested in the idea of a massive snowball fight outside, and the answers was either chopping up lots of little bits of ice into snow or trying out these Snoballs. The snow itself was very easy to make; we simply mixed the powdered mix in a large bowl with the listed amount of water.
