Doughnut Time’s Christmas DIY Kit | Review

As mentioned previously, Doughnut Time has done a few Christmas DIY kits! We tried the Gingerbread ones, and then ordered up the basic Christmas DIY Kit as well, to see how they compared. This box came with a variety of different Christmas-themed donuts and candies, which is really quite a fun family activity. The idea is that you can decorate these doughnuts, however you’d like, using the variety of different toppings and icings in the box.

Blueberry Snowball | Aloha 65 Cocktail Recipe

*AD – the items in this review were gifted to our household for this post. All opinions, as always, are our own.

Earlier on in the year we tried out Aloha 65, a zingy spirit flavoured with notes of chilli and pineapple among other things. Normally the bottle has a warm summer theme however, as you can see in the featured image, this time we had one with a different label. One with a winter theme, and this gave us a few ideas about how the drink could be used for more than just zesty summery drinks. Jump In take over Bounce trampoline park in Ipswich

In Ipswich, Bounce Trampoline has been transformed into Jump In, along with a change of owners, saving loads of jobs and offering a new bit of fun for anyone looking for a day out in the area.

The new Jump in Adventure & Trampoline Park boosts a 47,000 square foot site, being the 9th Jump In location in the UK. It looks impressive, with trampolines, battle beams, air bags, interactive walls, dodge ball and jump areas for younger children, teenagers and adults.

Along with the change of ownership, there has been loads of safety features put in place, so that the venue is COVID-secure. At the time of opening, the venue will be at 40% capacity, online booking systems and safety videos will be in place, the seating area will be well defined and ordering food will be done at your table. All payments will also be contactless in the cafe and deep cleaning will be happening regularly to make sure all contact areas are maintained.

A Day Out at Weald Country Park

Jupiter really loves deer. She grew up in a small town that had a lot of deer, deer hunting, and often just wild deer wandering about. As we have been going on more creative date nights, due to most things being shut, I surprised her with a trip to Weald Country Park – which ended up being so popular, that we went back with the kids. This time of year is when all of the deer are out, making it a perfect wintertime activity. Weald Country Park is free to enter – although if you park nearby you’ll need to pay for the car park – and contains a few different park areas, trails, a pond, deer and a cafe.

Pretty Suds November 2020 Bath Bomb Box | Review

November’s Pretty Suds box was Christmas themed – perfect for this time of year! After last month’s box of Halloween ones, I was pretty excited to get Christmas themed bath bombs, despite purchasing some from Lush already. I find that nice, warm baths in the winter can be so relaxing and such a good way to unwind, especially as the nights get colder and the days get shorter. The theme for November was Santa’s Workshop, which is truly perfect. Each box comes with five different bombs.
