Happy Salmon – Moving Around and Being Silly

[Ad- gifted product] Happy Salmon isn’t the normal type of card game we play at our local Geek Retreat. It’s one that might benefit from more space and not having a table in the middle of you. That said, as someone who has played it both ways, I do prefer having a table as a sort of middle ground, as otherwise people can get all in each other’s spaces and hard to move around! But, let’s get into the game.

Vortex Jelly Pops are a fun jelly filled treat!

[Ad- gifted product] It’s summertime and we are looking to try new snacks and treats, possibly for school lunch boxes in the new school year. One of the things all of our kids really enjoy in their packed lunches are the jelly squeeze packets. Zodiac Tea Bag Gift Cube – A tea for everyone

[Ad- gifted product] Bird and Blend Tea co is a brand of tea that we’ve enjoyed for quite a few years! Often, we try out their loose leaf tea and their cold teas when in the shop itself. However, I got my hands on a gift box, which contains a bunch of tea bags. If you do fall in love with any of these teas, you can purchase a larger tin of loose leaf tea of that flavor, to keep in your home.

Our household is also one that is very crafty, with both Amelia and Robin spending a lot of time making crafts and enjoying our craft supplies. We have a massive drawer of stickers – ones we have purchased that we thought they’d like, ones we have picked up from events that match video games, and ones that Amelia or Robin have brought home from school. We’ve never actually had a physical book of stickers before! The Creepy Cute Sticker Book is our first, but not our last.

Exploding Kittens – Easy, Luck-Based Card Game

[Ad- gifted product] I feel like everyone has heard of Exploding Kittens, a card game known for having cute yet strange cat-related artwork on each one! Exploding Kittens is created by the same developers as Power Hungry Pets, but was their first ever tabletop game. Somehow, we have never played Exploding Kittens; likely as when the game came out, it would have been too complex for Robin. As we have all grown older, it made sense to finally pick up a copy and play it for ourselves.
