Dann and I often go to Brighton for various activities, and while there, are trying to eat at a bunch of the wonderful food places they have around. The Breakfast Club reminds me of an American breakfast joint, feeling like the highlight of America and their diner-era. As an American, I do like the nostalgia that these types of diners have, and all of their food is always so filling and delicious.

It seems that many households default to video games, which we also play a lot of, but having a few engaging toys to break up the day and have screen free fun is always a must. When walking around Southend, we are always looking for a food place that catches our eyes. The outside of Buns Bros, before it opens, is actually a PokeStop in Pokemon Go, as the artwork is so fantastic. This, eventually, led us to eating there one afternoon when we wanted a lunch. Buns Bros is a sort of hole-in-the-wall place, like many of the small units along this side of Southend, that has a few tables outside and a few inside, along with a small window to order food at.
[Ad- gifted product] Having a few screen-free activities in your bag, especially during the summer holidays, is always a must! When we go on holiday, we always pack a few things for Robin to do in the morning, before her teenage siblings get up, as she doesn’t have a working phone and has limited screentime on WIFI. One thing she really seemed to enjoy was the Foil Fun Up in Space Kit, which is sort of like a sticker arts and crafts kit, giving a lot of different foils, stickers and even backgrounds all with a space theme. They do have tons of different kits from Disney to Animals to Unicorns, so there is a good variety to choose from.
