[Ad- gifted product] Most of our current bedtime stories have important lessons or fantasy themes, which have dominated the books that we currently have. There is nothing wrong with having books that are just for fun or having books that contain a lesson, but from time to time, it’s pretty lovely to get a book that has a real life story attached to it. Dream to Change the World is the story of John La Rose, a real person who positively changed the world.
[Ad- gifted product] It is rare that a tabletop game will work for everyone in our family – from adults to young ones, but sometimes we do hit the mark with games that just gel with everyone. Six Second Scribble is a new game from Gamely, that is rated for ages 8 and above, but works with all of us (even Robin who is 5!) which has been a big delight! It’s a simple concept and a quick to play game, so it’s very easy for everyone to get involved.

I think it’s great that people have come together to create a resource like this, especially considering that there just aren’t that many resources out there for people at the moment.
In case you haven’t realised it yet, You’re Going to Be a Dad! is a book specifically designed with soon-to-be, and father’s to be, in mind. That said, it’s much more than a guide for a pregnancy partner. it covers the different stages of pregnancy regarding the development of the baby, the normal tasks associated with that period of pregnancy and it also covers terms, jargon and more, that might not be understood by those who aren’t carrying the baby themselves. It’s also specifically designed to take different cultures and religions in mind – it is clearly designed to be as accessible and approachable as it could be.
You know when you are just craving ramen, and you just want to eat some right then and there. Normally, when Dann and I go to Wagamamas, we order a bunch of little bites and split them, as you might notice from most of the places we go, but this time we wanted to get some tasty, tasty ramen! We both got a couple of small items, different ramens and a dessert. Wagamamas is an interesting restaurant, as everything just comes when it’s ready, but the food is always lovely.
Pancake is not an outdoor cat and instead lives inside our house. He is a coward, afraid of the outside world, so he doesn’t really walk into the backyard and if the door is open, he’d much rather stay inside and look out. With that said, out front, he does walk out onto the path to our door and meows at the birds or eats at the grass out there, before running inside if he can’t see a human. Pancake doesn’t love being outside, but sometimes does spend 2 or 3 minutes, supervised, before coming back in. As he seemed to mainly want to eat grass, we figured we’d grow some cat grass for him!
